Each week, I drive hundreds of miles to go to other Mers Goodwill stores that are not this one, which is just 3 miles from my house. Occasionally I stop here to see if there has been any change. Last week, I found it worse than ever. The mark-ups (which are MUCH more than other GW stores) are scrawled inside clothing items in failing blue Sharpie over 3-inches tall! They basically render the items defaced and valueless. All other GW stores use black Sharpie on the label with a price 1/4" to 1/2" tall. I took a photo to post here, but it doesnt look like there is an available place. The staff continues to appear beleaguered and miserable. Other GW stores have much lower turnover rates with a rapport with the customers and with each other. These employees appear dead-eyed and anxious to find other jobs. And I cannot blame them. The NON-STOP announcements are icing on the torture cake. The clerks are forced to make announcement after announcement about items for sale. If a customer wants to go look at a fake Coach purse in the case, they will seek that out on their own. All of us in the long, slow line commiserated about that constant annoyance. I will continue to drive far out of town and spend thousands yearly at OTHER Mers Goodwill stores. This one is a major fail.

Would give 0 if I could. This goodwill is a joke. Ive been to several goodwills all across the United States and this one is by far the worst. The prices are marked up so high. Seen prices at this goodwill higher than eBay, Amazon, target and even Walmart! Its crazy how much everything is. If you want any clothes goodluck because they start prices at around $6 on anything that looks wearable. They ruin it with a giant 6 sharpied on the item so it shows through the shirt. Its a goodwill... they get their stuff for free so it should be sold at reasonable prices not $5 cheaper than eBay or other retail stores at most. So unless youre bored dont come here. Its a college town and a lot of broke college kids. Prices need to be cheap so we can afford to buy clothes for ourselfs without having to drive to stl or Fairview heights to go to a decently priced goodwill.

I would gave this store zero stars if I could. The only helpful one there was Amber! She was super nice and the poor thing looked like she needed a break. The new manger thats there now Lindsey she was awful to deal with along with the store manager Cissy. They mark things up like shirts they used to be $3.00 with tax it was $3.25 now they are $3.50 with out tax. Its a donation resale! I can not stand this place and would stay far far far way from it. BOTH mangers are SUPER RUDE!!! I wish I would of took my money and spent it else where. I rather pay retail.

I hate this goodwill. The prices are ridiculous (yes, they are a charity but marking an item as $4.99 when it has a store sticker on it as $3 is insane). The staff is rude and obviously dont want to be working here. I actually applied for a job here (before I realized how awful it was) and got a call back asking for an interview. The person I spoke to said she would call me back with a good day for an interview. I never got a call back. I didnt bother to call her back because obviously they dont care for their employees. HIGHLY dissatisfied.

The checkers are pleasant enough, but theres never enough. If someone has a return or is trying to buy an item and theres no tag, get ready to wait 10-15 minutes or more. The entire line comes to a standstill. They never call to ask some of the folks on the floor to open a register. Some of the merchandise is priced ridiculously high, especially the books. I understand that the money goes to help people, but the prices at this Goodwill are higher than any other Goodwill location in the bi-state area.

Went her again after an almost 2 year break from it and found a few things decently priced. They still charge $2 per disc on media items and their selection is hit or miss. Worth it if you are already in the area but wouldnt go out of my way to go.

This is a great location to buy summer dresses and other clothing. This location had a great selection, most still with price tags. A few beautiful designer gowns, too. Some really cool clothing! Usually a few good pieces of art, etchings, etc.

Checkers are very helpful but almost everything is marked up. Not sure why there are prices at the end of each isles nothing is that price. Walmart clothing is marked up. None of the other goodwills are like that.

Im a goodwill shopper n also have lived in many cities. This one is on my favorite list. 4/5 organized. 4/5 price. 3/5 clean. 5/5 sales. 5/5 clientele. 5/5 customer service. 5/5 building space.

The employees greet you as you enter and are quick to open a new register if a line gets too long. The place is usually kept orderly, and seems to be improving on organization of the shelves.

Love to go here for deals! Less than desirable dressing room situation but they keep the place clean and organized the best they can with the large inventory they seem to be taking every day.

I have found some pretty good buys here. It is a great thrift store to go to and browse for things you may be in search of for cheap. It is all donated stuff, so just keep that in mind.

Good selection, usually clean & organized. The only downside is its one of the most expensive Goodwills Ive ever been to. Most of the clothes are "marker price" (dresses $9+)

I do find great deals here sometime however, over priced most times. They have raised the prices in the past yr. Some workers are not pleasant to interact with.

A bit more of an upscale Goodwill, have to watch prices, they sometimes seem a bit higher here. Always clean and workers always nice.

A lot cleaner and more organized than other Goodwills. Some of the selection has retail prices, but the rest is a bargain.

Prices have gone up, but you can still find some gems here. Summer is the best time before the college kids arrive.

Way over priced especially when something has the original sales tag and the price is twice that or more.so sad.

Good selection. Clothing, mostly, divided by size. Floor needed mopped, was sticky.

Clean and the staff is courteous but it tends to be expensive for a thrift shop.
