Be careful coming here if you are from out of state. The ill informed and overly self assured cashier was 100% convinced that my Arkansas ID was fake simply because it wasnt constructed the same way as IDs he is used to seeing, and he tried in earnest to destroy it (peeling off the holographic film on the front, bending it, etc.) before confiscating it. He refused to give it back even after I showed him my social security card and two insurance cards with my DOB on them, and ultimately I had to go find a police officer to make him return it. Even then, he tried to talk the officer out of giving it back to me, probably to protect his fragile ego from the embarrassment of being proven wrong. I came to Chicago to see Gorillaz (my all time favorite band and the top of my bucket list), and my $250 ticket would have been useless without my ID. Not to mention I wouldnt have been able to legally drive home, visit any bars, or have any drinks at restaurants for the remainder of my trip. I definitely understand doing whatever it takes to keep your liquor license, but if youre going to withhold the IDs from places you dont know much about, might I suggest putting someone behind the counter who actually knows how to tell what IDs are real? FYI, working at a bank once does not qualify you as an expert. This is by far the most unpleasant liquor store experience Ive ever had and I would strongly advise against going there.

My husband and I had been pretty excited to check this place out. The store itself looked really nice & well kept with an array of options to choose from. After visiting the store, my husband and I will never go back. I will give them one star for having a couple Dogfish Head (60 & 90 Minute IPA) in stock. Other than that, I dont think they deserve any sort of rating. The man behind the counter was VERY rude from the moment I walked in and only looked at me suspiciously as I looked around. When I gave him my identification to check out, he let out a sarcastic huff and gave me an eye roll. I understand they have to check IDs, but I dont understand why he had to be so rude and patronizing the entire time. I wish I hadnt spent my $13 at his store on a four pack of beer. Ill find another place with at least a hint of customer service.

Kind of shocked by the bad reviews. Ive never been in until a the day before yesterday but found the staff to be extremely knowledgable and friendly. Im a big whiskey fan and they had hard to find Willett, Weller and Taylors and then put me up on a gin I had never heard of and even gave me a taste. Maybe not being as knowledgeable as they are makes you uncomfortable but I welcome the info and chance to learn anything I havent yet. As far as the bad review for beer I didnt look that much because its name is liquors and the dude who gave it a bad review because he said its not a grocery store Im at a loss to even explain your ignorance. Either way if you have liquors that have been hard to find or questions that need answers this is the place to go, and will be my new go to store from now on.

Had my 12 year aged Tullamore Dew! Wich I have trouble finding the reg in several parts of the US. They have an excellent array of wines, not a big wine drinker but they had a huge selection. The ppl were friendly, I walked in and told them what I was looking for and the gentleman replied "Ahh yes, right this way." The place was verry verry clean by the way, hardwood floors, wood racks/shelves, very nice. They had a few diff grades of the Johnny Walker, I noticed some Jack Daniels single barrell whiskey on the shelf. This place has a great selection, bottom line. Morgan is an idiot for rating 1 star b/c of where they wont deliver, I could care less if they even do deliver. Its deff worth checking out! Youll find something in there that will spark your interest.

Some nutbar below says their beer selection isnt so hot. Thats ridiculous. They have an enormous selection of great Belgians and US craft brews, even some flanders red ales that you cant get anywhere else nearby, and a FANTASTIC selection (and great prices!) of bourbons and other whiskies. Their special single barrel batch of buffalo trace is a really good deal, too, and very nice. the staff are probably the friendliest and most helpful that Ive ever found at any liquor store anywhere. Definitely the best liquor store Ive found in Chicago, period.

I just called them and they hung up on me. Employee: "Warehouse Liquors." Me: "Do you have any bottles of Bourbon County?" Employee: "Im afraid we dont." (click) I tried to follow up and ask if they expected another shipment and he hung up on me as soon as he said, "Im afraid we dont." I understand they probably field this question a lot, but that doesnt mean you should hang up on a potential customer. Terrible service

A fantastic selection of wines, craft beers and liquors complemented by the friendliest staff Ive found in Chicago, yet. Ive shopped there for myself and for events on probably more than 50 occasions and have never once been disappointed. Id highly recommend if youre in the market for a decent bottle of wine or a craft beer (but if you want the cheap stuff, they have that, too! :D )

You cannot put a price on passion, honesty and knowledge. Nor can you let distance keep you away. Gene and his team at Warehouse Liquors offer all of the aforementioned. Genes dedication to his customers as well as his wealth of knowledge of product are priceless. Gene has gained me as a customer for life! Cannot wait to visit Warehouse Liquors again soon!

I have yet to find a liquor store that comes close to Warehouse Liquors in the craft beer department. Whenever I go in there, I always find something new to try, whether it be a six-pack or a bomber, and I rarely ever find one that I dont thoroughly enjoy. I highly recommend this place for those that consider themselves a quality beer drinker.

Went there 2 days and bought 3 different craft beer from the fridge, they where all expired or old, had to flush the beer in the toilet.. Dont buy any craft beer in this place, maybe are there from ages... They should keep an inventory of beer...craft beers dont least forever!! Very bad...

Better wine selection than i had remembered in my last visit many years ago....i stopped going there bc the people working there used to smoke and werent much help. My last trip was the opposite....very helpful and clean. I will go back as they had some wines i struggled to find.

A bit expensive (in the Loop, compared to NC prices) and somewhat limited selection... unless you want awesome and rare. Few, but solid, style-redefining beers. Exceptional whisk(e)y. The staff were helpful and knowledgable! Considering frequent flier miles for future beer runs.

This place is the crown jewel of Wabash Ave for wine and spirits. The best place to get your Swerve Sauce and Mimosa Mixes. Johnny Tecate, Chupacabra Gabe, and Papa Gene run the show, and dont ya know they put the best jazz in your ear. "You gotta stay up, you got no choice!"
