I just had THEE WORST experience in this store. The wig section attendants were very rude and nasty to me. I simply wanted to purchase a wig cap to try on a few wigs, that I had every intention on purchasing today. they require you to purchase it for $1. Here came the first problem, I didnt have any cash. Usually when this happens they just charge you for the cap when you make your final purchase. Today, the attendant told me that I had to pay for it at the register since I have a credit card, no problem there. I walk all the way to the front, wig caps in hand, sign reads CREDIT/DEBIT $5 minimum. I didnt come in for anything except a wig, tbh I was here shopping with my friend for her a wig but I figured I needed one as well so I can knock out two birds with one stone. Solution? I then ask the cashier if I can pay for the wig cap after I find a wig I like - I get my wig + wig cap, go home happy, and the store is $40+ richer. And if I liked it, I may come back for more. This did not happen. I walked back to the wigs, found one to my liking, opened my wig cap and put it on. Wig in hand, Here comes the 3rd wig attendant asking to see my receipt. I explained what I told the cashier then she gets snippy with me saying thats not store policy and I shouldve asked her first. Uhhhh maam, if you were that concerned about my satisfaction as a customer, you wouldve made your presence known when I first walked through the door and NOT catch an attitude with me when there clearly isnt any communication happening between your team members. We go through who said what and why, I ultimately didnt try anything neither pay for that funky lil wig cap. I will never be back and Im telling all 2,000+ of my social media family in Chicago about this aweful place.

I will never go to this place again. I purchased hair and in 1 week it matted, I thought because it was 50.00 thats ok, I returned and purchase a wig for 229.00, in a week it matted. I went to return and was directed to a black girl, when she learned I wanted my money back a little Asian man came (though black owned). The owners says, I have to refer to the company, I explained its only a week old and thats unexceptable as were talking another disatisfied customer came in, the owner walk away. I decide to leave and I take my cellphone out to do a selfie in front of store with the wig on, out comes a security gaurd, who says I cant take picture, I continued he grabbed and pushed me, my phone dropped I picked it up as the officer continue to push me and used his chest to butt me. I called 911 about 3 police cars came, they reviewed video and told the officer he was wrong and advised them to settle with me and correct their error, I was given a new wig and I was asked if I would write a statement that I wont pursue further. Problem 1, the hair is not human, the yarn was separating from hair. Problem 2, no refunds, even if just 1 week, your directed to the manufacture. Problem 3, the officer lied, the police said hes not 1 of them. Problem 4, they have black employees up front and a black name, however the Asians are in the back. Last but not least, the black girl who ti was directed to first, basically pushed the security gaurd to address me, telling him I was taking their picture Think twice when shopping there, if you dont get your monies worth you will have to contact the manufacrure.

I walk to the store 15 minutes before closing and they would not give me 5 minutes to get the product that I need..... it is 15 minutes before closing this happened just now! They told the security guard to just close the door in my face. I was so f****** embarrassed. I will never shop here again I will advise everyone to do the same! So they think they are large enough tell people they close at 6, but turn you away 15 minutes before closing. The employees their literally looked at me and laughed at me and told them to close the door in my face. This used to be a 4 star review...

This store is about the size of a Target, very overwhelmed with "human hair". Clearly the targeted customers are African Americans, because of its location. The 2 stars is for NO RESTROOMS for the customers. As gigantic as this store is, they dont provide the customer with a restroom. They make it convenient to take your money, but not convenient to let you use the restroom. We left out without making any purchases after finding this out. #knowyourselfworth

I love this beauty supply store. I travel all the way from Jacksonville, Florida just to get their wigs!! It is so big inside and have so many products and merchandise to choose from!! Its like hair heaven with a hint of clothing and accessories, basically for people on the run that might want a quick fix and everything you need is one spot! This is the best thing that they put on 87th and Dan Ryan!! And its always clean! At least when I go there!

This place was awesome I was referred to this place by another beauty supply store and the thing that I was looking for they had it and for a huge place they have a great selection and although the customer service lady who was helping me she actually didnt help me find anything I found it myself but Im glad I was able to experience it and it was awesome and the lady at the front the cashier was pretty awesome as well

I was greeted with rudeness and sarcasm! When I simply asked for a EVEN exchange (I didnt want not one penny back). I just wanted to exchange a "unopened item" that I purchased less than 24 hours prior. I LITERALLY was only asking to exchange the hair for a color that was one shade lighter & was told I CANT!!! (NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND) even if it was purchased 5 minutes ago *smh* WOW! Thats crazy. Never again though.

This store is "hair heaven." Its HUGE! They have a wide variety of items, the store is always clean and there is always someone nearby to offer assistance. Some of the wigs are a bit high in price for the quality. Also, I dont like the fact that you cannot return items; however, you can exchange or receive store credit so at least theres that. Overall, its a great beauty supply store.

Will not be shopping is this beauty supply anymore was up in there today on 7-22-17 and Chinese man was following me and every other black person around. All up on my back and had the nerves to get smart when I asked him could he give me 10 feet cause he was invading my space. We need to stop supporting theses foreign businesses if they dont know how to respect ✊ us as a people.

I TOTALLY hate this place. No matter if you have just purchased something,and you walk out and realize I dont need this. When you turn right around, they will not refund your cash!!!! I will never shop there again.NEVER, what kind of business wont give you back your own money. This practice forces you to shop with them, no thank you.
