I lived kitty-corner from Carnival (at 2058 Cleveland Avenue) from 1964 through 1969. I loved that store and am so happy to see it still exists. When I was getting ready for a dinner party and didnt have time to walk across the street to buy my groceries, they would deliver! I dont know if they still do, but it wouldnt surprise me. Does anyone know if it is still owned by the same family?

I only shop here because it is very close to where I live. The people are very nice, but the prices are high and the selections are pretty meagre. I certainly wouldnt travel more than a couple blocks to shop here.

Not only is this place horribly overpriced (ridiculously so, even for Lincoln Park!), the staff is rude and I found a cockroach in my pre made salad!!!! So f**king gross! This place needs to get shut down!

Really sweet owners. A bit overpriced, but its in the heart of bouge-town Lincoln Park so its expected. Get the quinoa salad from the deli; its my favorite snack.

Neighborhood grocery. Not a bad selection, but make sure you check the expiration dates. Decent liquor/beer/wine selection, but pricey.
