Do you ever wonder what the video game store equivalent of chick-fil-a would be, or even hobby lobby. Well heres your answer. God meets video games, sure you can normally shrug it off when you visit your local chick-fil-a because as a business they don’t bring religion into the store, But not here. The owner of 35% of the store (other 65% is an unrelated phone shop) has been praying and talking about god every single time I’ve gone in, even to the point of him attempting religious healings on customers. One thing to note is that sometimes his selection of games may be pretty good, but the prices are so insane that this good merchandise will only sell if someone is clueless about standard competitive game prices. he charges premium prices on his merchandise just because he has too much time on his hands and cleans them all to death. In other words, a console that would normally be sold at 50 dollars, he sells at 80 just because he cleaned it, I respect when stores put effort into the cleanliness of their merchandise but not when I have to pay extra for that cleanliness, customers can clean it at home if they really care that much. You can tell he has very little confidence in his sales when he quickly drops prices if you even lightly show dis-interest, the only time you have privacy to browse and think about what you may want to purchase is when he’s focused on another customer, otherwise your stuck in an endless conversation about “god’s love”. To sum everything up, this store probably won’t last long once he’s scared off all the locals with his religious banter and pissed off loyal customers once they see how much they got ripped off when they price check on ebay.

This was probably one of the more uncomfortable experiences Ive had. First its hard to find, it should be better advertised they share a store with another business, next it should be advertised the owner, Ive been told is Luke? He is very much in your personal space, Im not ok with that, it makes me nervous and I didnt have my anxiety medication so I did have to leave without making a purchase but I doubt I would have anyway. I was looking for some Duke Nukem, Doom, Halo that kind of thing and I was being taken all over with game titles, it was like he just knew enough to talk gaming but hadnt really done his homework or played that many games. So after about 20 minutes of his rambling explanations of cleaning the games, God and that ridiculous laugh I was well into one of my anxiety attacks and just needing to get out of the closed space and get fresh air, I dont like to publicly announce these issues but instead just politely excuse myself. But this guy couldnt take a hint and wasnt going to let me leave without a purchase! I finally took a fake phone call and acted like I had an emergency. I doubt Ill be stopping here again, there are better options with competitive if not better pricing...oh and Im allowed to just shop and make my own decisions at these other places, even the ones in small spaces.

Over priced and limited selection, especially if your a Mario or Donkey Kong Junkie, like we are. I guess if you need another PS2 game ( not 8 bit) this is your place! And did someone forget to tell the owner we dont want get a God speech to when were shopping. I was highly offended being forced to listen to him tell some guy, that I doubt was there to purchase anything, that God speaks to him (the owner). I guess I could have left but that seems inconvenient. Lets re-visit the over pricing, they say its because they clean them? Do they charge by the hour for that? And why should I pay for someone elses dirty game.i would expect them to be cleaned. Did I mention him ripping of the neighborhood kids coming in trying to sell their used games for new ones? I cant even describe this, youd have to see it first hand. I guess its easy to take advantage of a child. Maybe I was just lucky and came on a very entertaining day? But there was a lot going on and nothing to do with me making a purchase. If you have a half-day to fill and need some religion and tricks on scamming small children, then stop on by to 8 Bit Plus...Im just going to stick with Game Stop!

Hours show they are open on Saturdays and never are. Open signs left on, but store is closed. Have tried going here every Saturday for the past month and a half. Will not be wasting my time trying to see if they are open anymore.
