This convenience store is next door to Hobgood Park, so it is your best bet for convenience-type items if you have a reason to be at the park. We were in Woodstock for three days of a four-day baseball tournament and stopped in a few times for provisions. Its a typical convenience store, with the addition of a supposed Louisiana-style hot deli with chicken and such. I got two boudin balls for $1.39 and was salivating at the prospect of nomming some superb spheres of southern soul food. Not so much. They were over-cooked initially, with about 1/3 of the entire ball crunchy and inedible. Too, the oil that they had been in was old and nearly rancid. Ive got to tell you, I can eat almost anything and convenience store food doesnt normally daunt my gut. I took one bite of the boudin ball and had to eject it like that scary chick in the Exorcist spewed green slime. Nasty and an insult to bad convenience store grub everywhere. Friendly enough folks, but if you are going to offer carry-out food at a convenience store, youve got to at least keep it edible by desperate passers-by. Hobgood Chevron (whoever entered the listing originally misspelt it) failed me horribly. I will neither forget nor forgive the grievous injury to my hunger.

THE STORE IS UNFORTUNATELY CONVEINENT IN LOCATION SO OCCASIONALLY I STOP THERE. ALMOST EVERYTHING IN THE STORE DOESNT HAVE A PRICE ON IT, AND IT DOESNT MATTER IF IT DOES BECAUSE THEY CHARGE YOU WHAT THEY WANT ANYWAYS. ONCE I NOTICED IT, I BEGAN ASKING FOR A RECEIPT THINKING THIS WOULD STOP THEM FROM CHARGING ITEMS INCORRECTLY. NOPE! ON TWO OCCASSIONS I ACTUALLY WAS GIVEN A RECEIPT WITH EXTRA CHARGES ON IT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE IN A RUSH AND DONT PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE AMOUNT.BEING CHARGED. EVEN FOR PEOPLE SUCH AS MYSELF WHO HAVE NOTICED, IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME. I NOW ONLY GO THERE IF I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.!!

They will overcharge you for items everytime. Have also bought bad fuel there before. Will only go there if I have to use the restroom in an emergency situation. Even though the restrooms are disgusting. Beware at the cash register, the owners have tought the cashiers to overcharge EVERYTIME.
