Okay, Pendergrass. Im an avid flea market diver, and I have sold for months at various locations in and around SC. Pendergrass has got to be the biggest let down Ive been to so far. It is not a "Flea Market". It is an inclosed retail outlet with off brand Chinese merchandise. There are plenty of electronics vendors, and one video game store. Everything is priced higher than Amazon (which blew my mind), and no one will let you haggle (okay, 1$ off is not giving me a "deal" on a 15$ game). I did not try to food so I cannot comment on its quality. If you want a flea market, drive up to Anderson Flea Market (only 30-45 min. away). This place also starts really late, they say they open at 9. We were there at 10:30 and half the stores werent open, we left at 11:30 and many were Still not open. A few had opened up during that time but they wanted high prices so we passed. The outdoor flea market that is set up down the road saved the day for us, but even then there are Resellers there (I cant believe that a location that small could still harbor Resellers). Of course they were asking about 20% higher than Amazon. Overall, if you want Chinese sun glasses, or knock off cosmetics check this place out. Otherwise, I would pass if I were you.

They sell only 6 weeks baby puppies who have not done eating their moms milk..i adopted female maltese 6weeks old..She never ate food and she looked like sick. So i brought her to animal hospital near from my home. they said her blood glucose was very low and she didnt have immunization..she was passed away later. She had some serious disease. Plz dont buy a puppy from tricias chihuahua play land..they are crazy breeder..They should keep baby dogs live with their mom and brothers or sisters for their living life and health for one or two weeks more..But they never do that..i spent a lot of money for her medication..;; adoption fee was $500 medication fee was $300..food and puppy supplies were $200. The total amount was $1000 like almost my house payment..wtf?? Plz dont buy puppies there..The hygiene condition is bad and dirty.. Their dogs are not active and they are just sleeping at all all the time.. they look like sick..they got first shot but not dewormed..crazy breeder..lol!! actually she passed away by parvo virus. i miss herㅠㅠ They are located at the 6th ave. They have no sign but you can see their business card inside.

Pretty much awful. About half of the shops are exactly the same items, at the same cost, and they wont negotiate. But the really stupid thing, is the price MARKUP. Seriously... a power drill you can buy for $80 from Walmart...seller at Pendergrass asking $200. And this wasnt one booth, it was 6 different booths I went to. All of the prices ABOVE retail, for stuff that was out of a box, had peoples names engraved on them, etc. The food court is now 75-80% mexican food. Which, I dont really mind, because I love mexican food. But to have a taco booth, right next to another taco booth, right next to Taquieria.....Theres no variety. Sure, its big. Yes, theres interesting stuff to be had there. But overall, this is not a fun place. Just sad. And unless you feel like spending 2-3x retail cost on things...there is no reason to go here.

It was Luis Jorge Borges who wrote: "I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library." Libraries r my deep love, yet perhaps a case could be made for a good flea market, and this one meets many desires. Foremost is the array food, as if from the far reaches of La Costa itself. If lucky, a live mariachi-esqe set of players flutter in your ears while u munch on that octopus Ceviche. & like Borges labyrinth, u should take time to snake through the corridors, inside and out losing track of time, and muse over where the haul of very suspicious-looking tools could have come from, while sipping on coconut water from an actual coconut. It is true that much of the content is indeed crap. But that is the nature of the flea market. & it is a kind metaphor for Life.

This place used to be nice, now its different from when I was there a few years ago. I didnt find much of anything interesting, and what I did find I couldnt even buy because the prices were so outrageously high! Especially that one stand in retro gaming, couldnt find anything below $30, it was ridiculous. Most of what I found could be bought way cheaper at a retro game store. I think a guy also got screwed over, he bought a more up to date game and was charged $30 when its half the price at GameStop. Anyways, the food wasnt like it used to be, things werent cheap or bargins, nothing interesting, way too crowded now, and not fun. I planned on going for weeks and experience what I did a few years ago, but now I regret even going and probably wont ever go again.

When you go pack extra patience... overloaded with huge strollers and small masses of running children. If you arent fluent in Spanish you may want to download a translator as most merchants are Spanish speaking and the majority or products and menus are in Spanish. Found a couple of things but nothing I could not have found at any old run of the mill fea market. I was FURIOUS about the animals being sold... chickens and turkeys with no life in them... just standing there drooped head eyes closed no longer caring about the people hitting the cages or the screaming children. Puppies the same way...I cant believe anyone thinks this is humane...Im all for them making money but come on folks treat the animals decent! I took a star just for the animals.

This place is like taking a trip to Mexico with all of the good and bad which that entails. Its a foreign place run by and for Mexicans (see their all Spanish marketing). Good stuff for sale but buyer beware. If you dont see posted prices, its because youre being charged the gringo rate (my espanol is at least good enough to tell that this is happened to me). You dont think these poor immigrants are paying $12 for a plate of food, do you? Got a problem? Suddenly that vendor will no longer be able to speak English. Basically, its like Mexico. Its nice to visit once in a while but you wouldnt want to live there.

Its a really large flea market with so much to offer. They have a lot to offer as for entertainment such as bounce houses, pony rides and trampoline bungee jumping for the younger ones, live music and food areas for everybody else. As for the shops here, a lot of them offer a wide variety of things for low prices. When I went recently I seen a couple of the shops that sell makeup products are selling fake versions of the Kylie Lip Kit and Im scared for the people who do buy them because a lot of the fake kits have glue in them... But other than that, I enjoyed everything Pendergrass has to offer.

I enjoy coming here for the food and to people watch.. I stay entertained just by watching all the different cultures and heritages here walking through the isles. I used to enjoy shopping here, however it seems more like a mall to me now considering all the sellers and the no bargain part of most of them... Id say 90% of the sellers inside sell new goods. I enjoy finding treasures and used goods and bargain prices. Thats what a flea market is about. They have a made a large area outside for kids jumpy houses and done an absolutely amazing job to the upgrades in the food court.
