I bought a Duralast battery here on 11/29/16 and it was defective. It stopped charging at all 4 months later, It simply died and I had to have my vehicle towed to a repair shop, where they simply replaced the battery. I went to this store today to inquiry about the warranty, and they told me it was 2 years, they lady who was at the counter got her manager Gery Smith. I brought the original invoice and for whatever reason he couldnt find it in the system. He inspected the battery and the invoice and asked me: "hey man, do you think you can buy a battery, and just return it 4 months later and get your money back?" . I explained to him that the battery was defective, and I had to get another one somewhere else. He said that since he couldnt find it in the system (despite having proof of purchase , the original receipt), he could only replace it. I explained that I didnt need another battery anymore, and didnt even want money back since I needed to buy items anyway, and would accept store credit, but he just said he could only replace it. I asked for the district managers phone number. Gery just said its at the front of the store, when I asked Gery what his name was, he said "Gery, do you want my address too?" I asked him "is that supposed to be funny?" and he replied "it can be". I asked if he was the manager and he said "I dont know anything about anything in this store". Very unprofessional, condescending and mocking customers Im sure is not in the job description. Ill never buy at Autozone again, avoid this location.

I enjoy the service there. The people may not be super fast, but they are accurate in what they do, and they are incredibly nice. I have however, had the same experience as someone else that wrote a review. I went in not long ago, and it happened to be pretty busy. They black male with the beard couldve called me over since I was next in line, but he was too busy flirting to even pay attention. It wasnt the guy with glasses. He may have been a delivery driver or something. He isnt there all the time. All of the others are fine.

Needed my battery replaced. Bought a battery and waited outside for the guy to install it. Waited 10-15 minutes and decided i was done waiting. walked up to the desk and asked for the tools to get started, 10 minutes later the battery was installed and they couldnt have cared less about doing it. Ill pick another store where the employees arnt hanging in the back with the parts on their cell phones avoiding work.

They always have to send you to south cobb drive location since parts are not available. Its ok since thats not far. But lately i spend more time on the line cose only afew employees are working. Its better to start with south cobb first before heading to this one. South cobb even greet you and are very fast!

I appreciate AutoZone because their customer service is better than most places. A lot of times you walk into a place like this and you feel like they all think youre stupid. I dont usually feel that way here. But call ahead to make sure they have the part or product youre looking for.

Ordered parts online and came to the store twice over 2 days and the prepaid merchandise was never ready. Spoke with associate about why my order was never completed and he simply said "we dont have time to fill order that people will not come pickup".
