Wow. I am impressed with this place. This store is obviously a labor of love. I recently moved from upstate New York where I had mixed experiences with LBSs. Of the few good ones I really liked, one shut down, and the other two were either somewhat slow or inconveniently far away. Moving down to Atlanta, I was worried it would be a while before I found a local bike store I liked. MTB Garage is exactly what I was looking for, they have bikes, parts and accessories, and Brent stated they are willing to price match many online stores. Brent is also clearly skilled with a set of Park tools, and I feel confident having him work on bikes. I flew down to Atlanta last month because I needed to start at my new job quickly, but we wanted my kids to take part in some events at school, so my wife, kids and dad drove down in early March. The plan was to have my bikes on the back of my SUV with the four bike hitch that I own. My dad wasnt comfortable making the long drive with bikes on the back, and took it upon himself to pack the bikes in the moving trailer. My dad tried his best, but I noticed some braking issues with both my 29" bikes (the two I own that have hydraulic brakes) after unpacking, and I wanted both bikes to have an overhaul to ensure they had a clean bill of health. I called Brent and he gave me reasonable price estimates and timelines on getting both bikes worked on to get them in top shape. I brought them in on Monday and reviewed my concerns with Brent. He let me know he could probably get them both back to me by the weekend. Brent could have easily charged me for a full bleed and tune-up on both bikes, but he didnt. He reviewed my Salsa Horsethief and after refinishing a glazed rotor and pads, confirmed that everything on the Horsethief was trail ready and called to let me know I could pick it up on Wednesday. On Friday he called to let me know my GT hardtail was ready, and reviewed what hed done, including topping off my brake fluid and working out a small amount of air, but letting me know that he didnt need to do a full bleed, so he wasnt charging me for one. He charged me well under $100 for all the work he did on both bikes, and Im extremely satisfied and grateful. We talked about local trail options, and based on where I live and work, and he let me know Big Creek Park might be a good place to squeeze in a few miles on a weekday. He mentioned some other options that were farther and offered more, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In talking about some of the shifting issues my hardtail had had, Brent talked about some challenges hed had with another bike and the thirty minutes hed spent to make sure the shifting was just right. Brent genuinely seems to be the kind of person that will gladly put in the time and effort to make someone elses bike just right instead of just good enough, and then charge them a price that is just as good, or better, than the competition. The store is great, the owners are great, and whether youre looking for a place to buy a new bike, buy parts for a bike, buy biking accessories, talk about local events, or talk about local trails, I wholeheartedly recommend MTB Garage based on my time in the store and my experiences with Brent and Shelly.

My wife and I havent risen bikes in years and decided it would be a fun way to spend time with our young children and get a little exercise. We did a little research online but couldnt pull the trigger and felt we needed help. We started at another shop, but quickly felt like we were in the wrong place. Luckily we didnt give up and went to Twisted Spokes. Brent greeted us as soon as we walked in and listened to us. Immediately we knew we were speaking to someone who was passionate about the sport but also passionate about working with people. He made the experience an absolute pleasure and got us even more excited about getting bikes. What made this a great place was Brent and Shellie being really sweet people. They genuinely care for those who come into their shop. I highly recommend Twisted Spokes and have already referred a few neighbors. Honest, sincere and genuine -- Thanks from all 4 of us!!

The husband and wife team that run this bike shop obviously take a lot of pride in providing a great experience. On my recent purchase of a bike and hitch bike rack, they both came out to my car to ensure that the bike rack was properly installed. Brent fine tuned the suspension on the bike for my weight before I left and told me I can come back to borrow their special device that monitors your ride to further refine the suspension. The shop dog Hershey is adorable and sweet. I highly recommend this shop.

These folks are my professional neighbors but they bring more than top notch professionalism to our little business nook. Brent and Shellie are both very thoughtful and caring people who demonstrate skill and understanding with all their clients and neighbors. If you want honest hard working intelligent friends to handle your "bike world" call them or simply stop in with your bike for precision care...in more ways than one.

I met husband and wife team who run the bike shop when I took in my six-year-olds bike to be looked at and fix her brakes(that we put on wrong when we assembled) and they adjusted seat and steering. They are Awesome people because not only were they very fair with their price and even as a freebie inflated our basketball, They (including their beautiful dog Hershey, were tremendously patient with my little one.

Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of bikes. My go to for servicing all kinds of bikes I sell online. Compared to other local bike stores I feel like I connect with real people who happen to be experts in their field. Highly recommend Twisted Spokes!!

Came in looking for parts for my BMX. They specialize more in roadbikes but the gentleman at the counter was still more than eager to help. Very friendly, clean bike shop I would recommend to any bicyclist.

These guys are awesome. I realized I had a flat after commuting to work, I called them up in need of bike tubes with long valves and they delivered them to my work! Saved my day. Great customer service.
