Have many complaints within a fairly decent time period (such as over 6 months). I read someone put always have fresh produce, I do not know where they get that from, I have only seen them have almost fresh produce ONCE. Their staff are ALWAYS rude, never seem as if they want to work especially in the meat and prepared for department(s). I ordered cupcakes the other day on a Tuesday and told them I could come at 6:00pm on Thursday, then realized early Thursday morning I could not pick them up that late and called to see if I could get them around 3pm and without asking for my name or what I was picking up was a NO and basically hung up, so I called back and told them to cancel order and they seem to of had no problem since they would not have to work any more then they have too. So because I could not get the ordered cupcakes I went to bakery and got some of their already made cupcakes, which they put in boxes for you and the "LADY" that put the cupcakes on the box basically threw/dropped them into the box and when handed them to me they looked as if they were smashed or dropped and icing all over the box. I knew it still taste the same either way, but was NOT presentable for who I was giving them too, wish I could post pictures because I sure have one. I also get meat from here often and on a more than once visit I did not get the meat I asked for, they cut what they want or already had sliced, so they did not have to go out of their way and do more work. I try to give everyone a second chance, and I feel I gave this Publix plenty of chances, and now I know to just not shop with them anymore. Ill go somewhere that appreciates my presents and my business.

Publix is disgusting! !!! I just watched a woman get harassed by loss prevention and the police, because she overlooked a $2 mud mask in the bottom of her buggy and walked out of the store. she paid for a load of groceries and didnt see the thin pack of mud mask still in the buggy. Things like this happen all of the time by mistake and these losers including management paraded her through the store like a criminal , instead of using good sense to say, maybe this was overlooked, tell her that she forgot to pay for an item and let her correct the transaction. She was more than willing to pay for it once she realized the error, pulled out her receipt to show that she had no intention of stealing and really apologetic, yet these idiots who clearly left their brains on the charging dock at home before they came to work, made a humongous deal about it. Publix, you should be ashamed!!! Ive seen this woman in the store on many other occasions that I have shopped at this store, so she is clearly a local patron. Is this how you treat your customers????? We spend ridiculous amounts of money with this company, and could honestly save bundles of money with your competitors instead. This was disgusting, unnecessary and embarrassing for me to watch so I can imagine how this woman must be feeling. PSA: MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU HIRE PEOPLE FOR MGMT. ROLES, THAT THEY FILL THE PREREQUISITE FOR COMMON SENSE AND SOUND JUDGEMENT. who spends all of the money she did on groceries and steals a $2 mud mask??? I am disappointed and almost terrified to shop here anymore. Just plain dumb.

I went here to get an already made cake because I was in the area (I usaully shop at a different location). Well the cakes werent that appealing to the eye compaired to the other Publix stores Ive shopped at. The cake itself was showing through the icing and the decorations looked like a kid did them, but I purchased it anyway because I was VERY short on time that day. I went to the counter to have something written on it and the employees didnt greet me and the male employee in the back just told me to go to the other end of the counter not smiling and continuing his conversation with the female employee nonchalantly. I noticed his uniform wasnt clean. It should have been white but it was very dingy and dirty. I hoped he didnt bake the cake. His writing on the cake was not very good either. Just thought Id share.

Purchased sugar free cupcakes that were kept in the refrigerator, looked good and tasted good. A week later, went back to see if they had more. The same ones that I left the previous week were still there. They were 12 days out of date! Showed it to the male employee and he said, "So what is the problem?". I said three times, it is over a week out of date. He said, "oh its just the wrong date." Then proceeded to peel off the sticker. The bakery manager came over, took it and said, "Oh it is out of date, sorry." I was concerned about how this was handled so went to speak to the assistant store manager. He was rather terse, "I am aware of this and was going over to the bakery to handle the situation. Sorry about that." I have found rotten and moldy food in this store before. Just BEWARE and CHECK DATES!

We utilized the online order option for the deli and scheduled a pickup time of 2:50pm. Upon arrival we decided to shop around a bit and found the aisle we were on had a stock person eating a bag of chips while stocking the shelves and blocking the products on the opposite side. The staff was not friendly and in fact when we made our way to the deli the deli staff was rude and gave smart remarks. Once we found the online pickup area we discovered not only were our sandwiches not there, with the time now 3:00pm, but the order hadnt even been pulled from the machine. No one apologized for the inconvenience, they just stated and I quote "Oh I didnt see it, I will make it now." This by far has been the worst experience from Publix in Fayetteville and I will not be shopping there again.

I had taken my mother to make a quick purchase while I waited in the parking lot for her to come out of the store. I was waiting a person pulled up next to me and motioned for me to roll down my window, I thought the guy was going to ask me for money judging by his appearance and dirty junky car. He then told me I could not wait in the lot, I said who are you he then pointed to a magnetic sign haphazardly stuck to the side of his dirty personal car that said security company of some sort. If they are going to have security I would suggest them to be more polite and present themselves in proper manner. I was concerned for my safety from the undignified appearance of this (security person).

DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT shop at this publix! Horrible! Sandwich lines have over a 30 minute wait time just to have them take another 10 minutes to make the sub. She doused it in oil and then added the wrong toppings. To top it off she gets an attitude with ME when Im the paying customer and have been nothing but understanding! So finally upset to have a sandwich shoved in my hand I complain to the assistant manager who becomes combative so it serves no purpose to complain. Then to add insult to injury I wait in line another 3 minutes to checkout for the cashier to say OMG they charged you for large sub!!! Im O-V-E-R this publix! Filed a complaint and cant wait to get a call back!
