I was hesitant about going into this place at first. The shopping center that it is located in just so dead. I stopped in mainly because it was closer to my home than the Dekalb Farmers Market. The first time I stopped in here they were having a sale on the medium white shrimp about $4 for a pound. I figured that was a good deal and it was fresh so I went for it. I purchased a few other things as well and was ecstatic that I had purchased so much out of there and only spent about $55. The produce here is very CHEAP which was a plus. I have been back several times since discovering this place a few weeks ago. I mainly just go now once or twice a week to purchase my shrimp. If you are looking for things like chicken feet, pig heads, live seafood and such, they are worth a visit.

I bought chicken wings from here over the weekend and they were spoiled when I checked the date it wasnt pass the sell by date. I figured I just picked up a bad package and couldnt return it as meat can only be returned within 24 hours. Yesterday I picked up another pack this time leg quarters and I just pulled them out the fridge and they smell HORRIBLE. Seems like Bad meat is being packed with a good date. Because of this 24 return date on the meat is lost about $8 on chicken I couldnt use because I will not be able to return it before they close. I hope they fix this issue Ive always shopped here for veggies and international seasonings.

If you are a seafood lover, then this is your place!!! This market has a huge variety of fresh fish and more with unbeatable prices as well as friendly service. They offer weekly specials that will help you stay within your family budget. When you go to their produce department you will find out why they fall under Farmers Market. They count with their own large parking area; you will never have problems finding a space. They have 10 plus cash registers that are always in service. Lots of customers all the time, that should be something to consider, Wouldnt you agree?

I love the Lilburn location, never had a problem. This Shackleford location has been lacking for the past two years. Ive been trying to give them chance after chance but this was the last straw for me. Great produce line, but the chicken is flawed. No discoloration on the top, then youll take it home and find out you have old trash smelling chicken at the bottom with brown marks. This has happened a total of 7 times. Im over it. Ill continue to go a few miles for the other location. Super disappointment unfortunately.

Their meats Department particularly, their chicken, the parts keep changing, I like whole wings. I got them for a while, then you started selling was wing-dings. I like whole wings! The most important situation, in my opinion is, you have only two handicap scooters one is very old. Your store is very large and you should make more available to your customers. I have suggested it to customer service but nothings been done about it. Please get more scooters particularly at the Shackleford location

It is always crowded but I love the variety, it does not matter where you are from. You will find your ethnic food here. Food samples have helped me explore lots of other food options. The prize here is surprisingly cheaper , plenty of fresh fruit. They can improve on organizing some area. Nothing in life is perfect, I gave a five star for all I need is in one trip with super saving. I have never bought anything item that was spoil or not fresh.

Food is good but they need to do something about the register and the seafood department. Doesnt matter what time you shop their, seafood is always 40-60 minutes wait due to the lack or resources. That place is always busy therefore its safe to assume they are making $$$. HIRE MORE PEOPLE stop being so cheap. Shouldnt have to sit in line for 20 minutes 2:00 in the afternoon! Shouldnt have to wait 60 minutes for fish at any given day/time!

Went in for some shrimp & crablegs today and was treated poorly. There was no one in line except for me and my husband but we wasnt asked if they could help us or anything. 2 people that wasnt African American walked up and the guy waited on them and laughed at us. I will never go there again. Has to be the worst group of employees that I have ever seen. I wish I could give a 1/3 of a star just because the doors worked

Perfecto para frutas y verduras.. La carne, aveces tiene fecha de caducidad de 1 o 2 dias después, color raro, y por el lado de la carne de puerco muy mal olor! Por lo demas seguire comprando

Its Really going Downhill. Vegetables looked days old. The Seafood & the Meats Sections smelled so awful. The meats were Not fresh at all. Some of them so bad the stench stayed on my hands after touching the Package. At least there was hand sanitizer available. They definitely need to Teach their employees about Customer Service. The ones i dealt with in the Butcher Section"So Rude".

Plus side: this market has authentic carribean seasoning, negative side: on several occasions I purchased soda (ting soda) that was already expired, grapes and cherries in bag (in the middle of the bag all the fruits were rotten) and finally I purchased combo seasoning, and there was bugs inside of the sealed container...be very careful what you buy, examine it throughly!

Good place to buy cheap and fresh food... Some stuff no that fresh but you can tell is not and if you take it thats you own fault... They always pack in the cashier side I dont know if is because a lot of people going to this place or because they are slow... Place check the expire days in the meat the going bad fast dont matter if you put it in the refrigerator...

This places offer a good mix of Latin/Caribbean and Asian product, with fresh vegetables, very fresh fish and special Asian and Latin cuts of meat. Also all the basic goods you wanna have in a grocery store. Good prices, nice personal, it could be a little more organized but I think the location its just a little small for all the options. Worthy to try!!!

RE Controls

Great food variety compared to other stores. Beware of return policy especially in goods bought in back of store e.g. grills, pots, etc. Would have giving it 5 stars but prices have gone up and are now comparable to any other local store; thus, making the trip less justifiable. Will monitor prices and provide update with 5 stars if prices get lower.

Bad quality pre pack vegetables. We bought prepackaged corn on the cob and they were horrible on the bottom side. It was purposely packaged deceivingly to look good on top. buyers beware. And they would not take it back even one day after the purchase. Oh, the fruits go bad in 2 days. horrible place to shop and horrible service.

I shop here often!! I stopped coming due to the over powering fishy smell in the deli, I also purchased some salmon and got very sick, vomiting everywhere. I hadnt returned for about a year but when I did, I was pleased to see they had cleaned up the place and made some changes. Im still careful when selecting the meatage.
