WARNING!!! Do not buy anything from this store!! I purchased a large sideboard recently for my dining room. While the actual piece is beautiful, the service that I received is the worst that I have ever been involved in or have heard of. First off, the delivery crew was supposed to call me en route to my house. It was notated three times on the shipping invoice! (I work third shift, so for a day time delivery, I need a phone call so that I can be awake) No phone call was ever made, but luckily, I woke up to the sound of the door bell. Next, the two individuals who were delivering the piece, were the rudest people that I have ever dealt with! After placement of the sideboard, I told the delivery man that I needed to inspect the piece for damage as told by my salesman. He literally stood in my doorway, told me that I have three days to do that, and slammed the door in my face! As I inspected the furniture after being left in confusion of how someone could be so rude, I noticed a gash in the wood on the top piece, and the felt pads on the bottom were hanging over the edges looking like a 5 year old had installed them. Right away, I called customer service. We scheduled a redelivery of a new piece after I sent them pictures of the damage, yet had to wait another week for that to come. I was specifically told that I would have another delivery team come to my house with the new piece because I did not want the same rude individuals to come back. Fast forward a week.... guess what??!! Again, no phone call for en route, and the SAME crew! After they left, I pulled the wine rack pieces out of the cabinet, and noticed that one of the ends were not secured in place, and had come apart. So guess what.... another call to customer service. I then had to call the warranty company to send out a service man to my house to fix the issue. Another week!! Finally, the technician was supposed to show up at my house today, 4/21/15 between 3-5 pm. At 4:55pm, I made a phone call to customer service inquiring about where the technician was, due to a lack of a phone call or email informing me that he would be running late. The customer service rep called the tech. He told her that due to Atlanta traffic that his gps said that he would be here at 5:40pm. When I asked about rescheduling, I was told that nothing was available for ANOTHER week..... So, knowing that he would be running late, do you not think a phone call to the customer stating that he would be running that late wouldve been nice? I have things to do other than waiting on these people to show up. These are hours in my life that I could have been doing what needed to be done, instead of sitting at home waiting on someone who obviously doesnt respect the customers that pay his check. It is now 6:05pm, and nobody has yet to show up!! Who knows when they actually will come? Save yourself the hassle......GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! I will do everything in my power to deter someone from buying from this company. Customer service is obviously not important to them!!

Do not waste your time shopping here. I purchased a sofa and love seat on April 8th. My husband and I choose a set that was on back order, which at the time was fine, considering we didnt close on our new house until the day before the expected delivery date. Well...Our delivery date has changed 3 times and here it is June 9th and we still dont have the furniture we ordered. Victor, our sales guy, told the Havertys warehouse that we changed our mind on our couch color in order to get us a temporary set until ours came in. This was a lie, and a way to cover up his mistake in schduling the delivery date. This was after the delivery date changed the 1st time. I must add, I had to call into the store and check on the dates, I was never notified of the delivery date changing. I even waited until AFTER the couches were supposed to be delivered to call once. The second time our delivery date changed, I called in for an update. Victor even told me "oh yes, I just checked on your order this morning and it has been changed to June 11" ummm.... Excuse me!!! First off, why has it changed again and WHY didnt you call and let me know! They never had a reason as to why the delivery dates have changed. I spoke with the manager, Tony, and all he wanted to do was offer me $100 gift card. I cant get a measly lamp shade at their store for $100. Which, by the way, I havent gotten the gift card that was supposed to be here last week. Its not about what Im getting for my troubles, I just want my couches!!!! Thanks for the offer. But Ill be taking my business elsewhere, and you should too. Or at least to another Havertys. Stay away from the Mall of Ga Havertys!!!!!

At the present time I am infuriated with Havertys Mall of Georgia. We just purchased a set of leather living room furniture and matching recliner, which was supposed to be delivered between 5:30 & 7:30 today. You understand, of course, that I did not select that time frame. That is what they told me yesterday. Well, guess what? Apparently the idiots who made the schedule did not understand the nature of time, nor the predictability of complexity in the delivery process, nor DOT regulations concerning how long a driver can work in one day. I suppose this was a surprise to them when they made the schedule. Consequently, it will be tomorrow before they can even reschedule. As to the quality of the furniture I wouldnt know, because its not here yet! Perhaps when the can bestir themselves to keep their commitment and deliver their product as promised I will bestir myself and write a review on it. Meanwhile, should you purchase almost $5000 worth of furniture from Havertys: you be the judge.

We went here last year to purchase every single new piece of furniture we needed in our new house. Selection is great but if you run into a man named John on the sales staff BEWARE! John, our salesman, promised us free pillows for our couch that would match the chair we purchased. So a few months went by w/ no pillows and he would not return phone calls and not respond to emails I decided to drive back up there and confront him. John seemed baffled and took us to the computer where he assured us we would receive theses pillows...and...guess what...NO PILLOWS! These pillows cost $80 /each and if John didnt have the authority to give them away he should not have offered...its as bad as dealing with a car salesman. If you can, find the product in-store and order online so you can avoid another disappointing experience.

We were forwarned by some good friends that ordered an expensive leather sofa. Had it ordered 4 (yes4) times to get it right.........never did get it and the ordered cancelled. We ordered our furniture. What an ordeal. We were exhausted after it taking them 2-3 hours to write it up!! The furniture came in and the chair and a half had a rip in the front that was attempted to be repaired with a GLUE GUN! Went multiple months with them saying it was ordered etc etc etc. ALMOST a year later (And many screwed up delivery calls!!) the chair was delivered........WRONG AGAIN. We are at our witts end. I have never posted a negative remark about any business....... but this is the last straw.
