I purchased a couple marinated chicken breasts and they were fantastic. Great flavor and they pounded them flat for even cooking. Very tasty. The other fresh meats looked equally delicious. Ill echo the previous review - the fresh veggies were lacking. Went for some asparagus and it was pitiful, limp, soft. Did grab a couple potatoes instead. Was impressed with all the fresh milk and dairy stuff. Ive never had fresh non-pasteurized milk. Overall, the market was great - had any item you might realize you forgot from your regularly scheduled grocery trip. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Small selection of wine. Nice deli. Probably not a place Ill go back to often, if at all, just due to the location. But would definitely recommend it to someone that lives downtown and doesnt want to make the trek to a Publix.

As a Realtor with Lombardo Real Estate, I actually use this place as a selling point for the apartments in the greater building (The Element). ;) "A grocery store just downstairs... You cant beat that!" Things are a little pricier here, but first of all... They have a wide variety of great offerings. Secondly, the location is very convenient for downtown. While the Channelside Publix is officially under construction (as of time of writing), weve got a bit of a wait. In the meantime, we have Duckweed Urban Grocery. Besides, you get what you pay for - its a trendy atmosphere, with a clean bathroom and hip artsy decor.

It has a lot of good hard to find items, local goods, organic and things like grass fed beef steaks. however their produce is usually rotting. The little fridge they have smells horrible when you open it and most of the items in the produce area usually have gone bad. I bought 4 ears of corn which were inedible. I brought them back in a plastic bag. They put the plastic bag back on the rest of the rotted corn and it was still sitting there in the bag half peeled corn that I returned. They do have some other great items, but make sure what you are getting is fresh.

Hipster/Urban style grocery store with a selection of many unique items you just cannot find at mainstream style stores. Although small in stature, Duckweed has the place jammed packed with healthy options to fill you fridge with. Although not cheap by any stretch of the imagination it is convenient. A nice place to drop in and grab healthy lunch options. They have beer/wine a deli section and now, a chocolatier.

Sandwich/deli counter has delicious vegetarian options with cool biodegradable containers. Also, check out clerk went above and beyond to make sure one of the drinks I was purchasing was safe (he remembered seeing something on the news about this particular brand and went online to make sure).

I love this Duckweed Urban grocery its a one stop store. They have a wide variety of wines and gourmet that even the hard to find items they have it all. They also have a lot item on sale.. So hurry up!! Buy here!!
