On Saturday the 16th we purchased some salsa from the "sale table". It rang up full price. We pointed out the error to the cashier. We paid half price and the cashier stated that the person marking down items skipped a few. We confirmed that if we returned we could purchase more of the salsa at the sale price. We loved the salsa so we returned to purchase more. It rang up full price again. We explained to the cashier and she called over another employee. This lady raised her voice saying the item rang up correctly! It was marked $6.50 and that was the price. My wife showed her the receipt from an hour earlier. The tall Blonde lady kept repeating that the item had rung up the price that was marked on the jar! The cashier that helped us earlier stepped in and explained that it was an error in pricing. The irate employee then LOUDLY stated to go ahead and charge us half price! It was now my turn to speak. I said we would NOT BE PAYING for the salsa. I stated that store policy is the item is FREE if it does not ring up correctly. We paid half price earlier so employees would not be in trouble. I told this lady she needed to read her employees manual! I demanded to speak to the manager. It was then I realized that The tall blonde lady yelling at us was the manager. Her name is Casey. I then told her I spent over $600 a week for the last 20 years in her store and I would not be coming back. She then turned her back on me....... We left with a jar of free salsa..... I have never been treated this way by a store employee in 60 years of life!....Today is Tuesday the 19th. We shopped at the local WD today. The chicken is much better. In fact, every deli item was way better. I plan on living at least 20 more years. That totals $624,000 dollars that I would have spent in your store !!

If I could take away that 1 star I would. So today I was in a bit of a time crunch so I thought Id order a sub online so I could get in and out of the store, and back to the office. My coworker thought it was a good idea and did the same. We placed two separate orders, but both for mojo pork sandwiches. We get to the store and asked if they were ready, only to be told that they didnt have mojo pork available . The lady then says she tried to call, and says she called me twice, but mysteriously enough i didnt have any missed calls. So why would you not call my worker who had a separate order... seems like a lie to me. Next she asked if we would like to order something else and I asked for an ultimate, while my coworker opted for the chicken tender and was told it would be a while and asked if he would prefer popcorn chicken!? Mean while the actual popcorn machine is going and its burning, a worker in the deli acknowledges that its burning and proceeds to walk by not once but twice, until another lady comes and turns it off. The entire area is now filled with smoke and we have to return to the office smelling like burned popcorn. After the entire ordeal, not even a discount was offered. We placed our orders for 12PM pickups and left the store at 12:53PM after waiting for over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches that we didnt want and being lied to about calls that were never made! Do yourself a favor and never go to this disgrace of a publix!

This is a small, older Publix. The selection is smaller than most other Publix due to space and given Publix ineptitude at stocking the store, this means shopping there can not only be physically uncomfortable but unredeeming because you wont find what youre looking for. So, youll get a hand full of rain checks and not much else, if youre lucky. The deli is a nightmare. For some reason Publix has trouble staffing their delis and Mango Square is no exception. The basic staff try hard, most of them, to help but theyre overwhelmed and working out of space that is too small. Its been my observations that the deli managers are the real problem here. The only bright note at this Publix is the pharmacy which staffed but very nice people who genuinely seem to care about their customers. They are friendly and helpful and very efficient. I use this pharmacy and appreciate their hard work. Sadly, theyre stuck in this Publix location.

We go to this one every week and spend a good amount of money. Today we went in and saw something that was advertised at a good price so we decided to get it. Went to the register and the lady said that the price was wrong and that she wasnt going to honor it. The wife went back and took a picture of the price with the stack of the items and she still refused to give us the price. An associate checked the price and said it was correct and the cashier said that he dont work the floor so he doesnt understand the tag and still didnt give us the price. Its ok I know $600.00 a week isnt much but that will be money spend at another store. Very disappointed at this moment.

Dennis with blond hair may be unaware that you do not toast the lettuce on a sandwich. Honestly I feel like he did it on purpose because he might hate his job (I know how it is). Either fire him or give him a raise so hes incentivized to do his job correctly. But he needs to be reprimanded. Errors are errors no matter where you are in life and they shouldnt be tolerated, no matter how trivial. Listen I know its just a sandwich, but no one wants to pay $7 for s**t in your mouth, so can someone please keep him in check? Thanks.

My review is soley based on todays visit at this Publix. I typically come here on my lunch break for a sub. Today, I probably stood in line for approximately 10 minutes and when it was my turn to order, I ordered my usual and they regretfully had to tell me they didnt have my bread. In fact, only two options were available, white and cuban. I never would have expected for them to be low on bread options during lunch time. Needless to say, I walked out without a Publix sub today :(

I have always had faith in the quality of the produce and meat at Publix, but on Monday August 21, I purchased 4.75 lbs of ground chuck. When I started to package the meat for my freezer, much to my dismay, I realized there was old discolored meat covered up with fresh meat in order to hide the much out of date older meat. I have heard of other grocery stores doing this, but never thought Publix did! Shame on you Publix!! The weight was also .75 lbs short.

Has all the basics, but lacks a well kept produce section. Every time I go the this market to buy vegetables or fruit I see some sort of rotting produce; usually tomatoes. It also has a small cosmetics section and a small bakery. They do, however, have a tasty deli (but it is also small compared to other Publixs.) I would recommend for daily needs, but if you are looking for a gourmet ingredient or something special, go else where.
