I unfortunately have had the displeasure of working for Sterling Organization on an upfit of their property on Milton Road in Charlotte, NC. They happily accepted our proposal for renovations that allowed them to lease a large office space for a temporary Charter School. Since we completed the work in October (and the tenants moved in) they have paid us less than half of the amount we are owed, the local office doesnt return my emails and the home office AP contact would like to pay me in full but it is not up to him. He says it is a cash flow issue rather than the desire to pay! At the time we accepted the job they did not ask for terms or inform us of any cash flow issues. I would think if you can make 52M dollar deals for shopping malls you could raise $150,000.00 pay the invoice for work done well by a local small business. Even though I expressed the difficulty they are causing us (cashflow issues!!!) and let them know we have paid out all labor and materials for doing this work they still will not remit the total balance. I would recommend anyone think twice before doing business or leasing from The Sterling Organization. I ONLY selected the one star because it will not post otherwise!

Some businesses which truly deliver..... do well here. But the mall itself truly does nothing to attract the local crowd. Located in a thriving neighborhood with Waterfront luxury homes nearby....Pompano Cities Centre fails to deliver. A concrete block environment with escalators occasionally working. (occasionally not)....it reminds me of a business whose motto is lets invest the minimum and see what happens. Amazing real-estate..right on Federal Highway without much to offer. Empty with a slighty unsafe feeling after sunset in an outdoor atmosphere. No warmth. This place can be like Miamis Sunset Place...or even Bal Harbor Shops.....but requires much more care and much more investment. Come on owners... Step it up!!!! A few businesses.....like a Lebanese restaurant and some eateries seem to do well.....but cold-white lighting.....no visible security... long walk from parking to retail....and lack of investment creates a cold parking lot feel throughout. Its really a shame....because the potential is there.

While this isnt a bad looking place as you go by, I just found it to be lackluster and a bit odd. The anchor stores, Pennys, Macys and Sears are not as good as they are in other malls. They are smaller, and just have a lower middle class feel to them. I even noticed an odd smell when we were in a couple of them that was reminiscent of a warehouse. These department stores, especially Macys usually smell like a blend of new clothing and ladies fragrances. It also seemed strange to have one end flanked by Lowes and a Big Lots somewhere in the middle. Overall, it was just a strange place. While it is easier to get in and out of than some malls (two days before Christmas there was loads of parking), I probably wouldnt shop there again, except in an act of desperation.

I love this place, I dont understand that whole "lower middle class" statement that seems to mark some of the bad reviews as if thats supposed to be a bad thing. As a person in the lower middle class, I find all of the stores affordable and the people who work there friendly. My grandmother shopped there for years and its very accessible by bus. My only critique would be that it would be nice to have a bus stop that was located closer to the shops instead of on the main road, or a bus that went from the shops to the beach. Otherwise its a great place.

Me and my friends mainly shop here for the Garden Gate plant center located just outside of Sears. Then I maybe venture inside the stores for a bit. The Ross isnt well-stocked. Sears is a ghosttown and honestly a bit sad. The food choices are lacking, so eat ahead or after. If you want something cheap and easy there are many food choices located just outside of the mall. Pollo Tropical and Wendys are both inexpensive and convenient. I would love to see this turned into something special, because it has potential, but Ive been waiting for years.

The mall is pretty nice, however I feel like it lacks a variety of stores, specifically for the teenage crowd. It does have a GameStop, and a cold stone, but I still feel like it lacks something. The mall has potential, it may just have to grow. I go to the mall to see Lisa on the second floor to get my hair done, she is great! The GameStop there is pretty nice, and the staff have a grand knowledge of the games. The parking lot in this mall is pretty huge, which is why I say the mall has potential.

Youll find box stores like Lowes and other chains like Bath and Body Works and Panera Bread here along with Sola Salon upstairs on the second floor. The layout has never worked for me since developers converted the indoor mall to an outdoor, disjointed walking space. There is no easy way to "walk the mall" going from one shop to another. This is laid out for people who dont want to shop but want to go only to one place, get what they need and get out.

Turning this into an outside mall was an enormous mistake. Located in South Florida who wants to walk around outside in a unshaded mall with no ac in the middle of the day?! Even though having 3 levels provides more space they fail to use this mall to capacity. Its always under construction and shops are always closing or changing theres very little stability. When Lowes is your highest trafficked store in a local mall you have a big problem.

It has everything !!! Its quiet and no problems with the parking. I love this mall. Tiene de todo! !! Es tranquilo y no hay problemas con el estacionamiento. Amo este centro comercial.

Hearing all of those bad reviews really already makes me pretty biased against Lowes and really wants me to make myself go to Home Depot. Maybe keep should keep an open mind? Lets go check out there information technology equipment, since thats what my forte is and we will go from there that way I can offer proper suggestions on price and customer service

Nice little spot to hang out, enjoy shops (even if just window shopping). Very peaceful and sometimes crowded (mainly during events). Theres a carousel for the kids to ride. A nice mixture of shops and restaurants. Chick Fil A and a bowling alley across the street. Spending the afternoon here is really great.

Since they renovated the mall it isnt as good as it used to be, you have to travel outside of the small central outdoor courtyard to get to all the big clothing, hardware etc stores, many times needing to go back to your car and drive around the other side of the building - not an indoor mall anymore.

This shopping center is actually perfect for cool good priced buys! With stores like big lots and bed bath and body works im here often! both of those stores sweet helpful staff and it isnt a mall thats totally crowded so most of the time the trip is more enjoyable. This ones definitely on my list!
