Friday, March 24, 2017 I am writing this for my husband. Walmart Vision Center in Pinellas Park, Florida is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! And to clarify, I am not speaking about Dr. DAlesio, but the people who "work" in the eyeglasses section. Tracey and Sky are absolutely pathetic. My husband paid $500 for glasses. My husband got the phone call that his glasses are ready to be picked up. My husband and I went to Walmart Vision Center in Pinellas Park to pick them up and Tracey would not give us the new glasses UNLESS WE GAVE HER MY HUSBANDS CURRENT GLASSES THAT HE WAS WEARING!!! ???? Tracey said the glasses my husband was wearing belong to Walmart! huh?? My husband got his current glasses 5 years ago. Also, early in the day I asked Sky if the glasses were in and Sky said no. I found out later that the glasses WERE IN. Sky just did not want to get off her lazy butt to go look in the back. Also, Tracey told me Sky was done working for the day and went home; 30 minutes later I see Sky sitting (doing nothing again) at a table. Do yourself a favor and do NOT get glasses from Walmart Vision Center in Pinellas Park. Tracey and Sky are pathetic, rude, lazy, and liars.

Saw Dr Alessio 2 years ago after a barrage of emails went back for an appt. I noticed his prescription had equal numbers for both eyes when one of my eyes has greatly reduced vision as well as an astigmatism. Another optician whim I had seen a year and half before also noticed that the prescription was way off giving me incredible vision in that eye which wasnt the case. The entire prescription was FULL OF DISCREPTANCIES !!!! When I called back asking that he give me a correct prescription his staff was extremely rude wanting me to inconvenience and rearrange my schedule and then offered me my check as if here arent a ton of qualified and accurate opticians available. If they were doing so well I probably wouldnt of received a trillion emails theyre desperate . DO NOT GET AN EXAM W/ DR ALESSIO.

The worst assistant they have, very rude, not helpful at all, We just went to pick-up new lenses and they were scratched, she claimed they came like that, when we questioned her ,she was very nasty, even they are going to replaced them it doesnt allow her to treat clients in a such bad manner . We spent quite some money there for those lenses and we got the most awful experience, they shouldt be in charge of customer service, they do not have a clue how to treat people.

Eye exam @ $65. Made appointment for Saturday but still has to wait for about 30 minute or so. Thats pretty good when compared to wait time at a typical doctor office. Robotic assistant ran eye exam machines. Friendly/nice doctor (optometrist) did more eye exam and prescribed. The opticians who fill the eyeglass prescription seem friendly enough. The opticians dont belong to the same business/office as the eye doctors office. They just share the space.

True to Walmarts promise the one year warranty on prescription glasses/sunglasses paid off after breaking the frames on my every day wear sunglasses. They confirmed my purchase date, eleven days before expiration, and replaced the broken frame in about 15 minutes and I was out of there. I highly recommend.

Dont never take your glasses there to get fixed they will break them.... Some lady walking with a cane... Snap them and then lol about it wtf
