My husband daughter and i walked into the store and were immediately greeted by the staff. The ambiance was very appealing and held a very positive vibe. We met with one of the employees Infan Ali who was absolutely exceptional! He listened to what we wanted and showed us all our options, offered us coffee and cookies, and really provided a great experience. We were looking for an 8 seater square dining room table and saw what we liked but were not sure on the color, we did also find living room furniture that we are looking to buy in the near future. We took his card and told him we would come back. On the drive home, there was a Rooms to Go on pines blvd. We decided to stop to see if maybe they have one in color we like, even though we have only purchased from city furniture because thats where we have our credit card and the prices are better. Anyways, the experience was absolutely different. The employees were all sitting, looking down, completely uniterested and wouldnt greet us. The person that did come up to us was dry, rude, would look at us and didnt provide any customer service and wasnt listening. She showed us the opposite of what we wanted. We decided to walk out and go home. We are going to look online at city furniture to see what other options they have, if not, Im going back to meet with infan. Weve always been a loyal city furniture customer. I guess this is just what happens when you go to check out the competition lol... anyways... I felt that it was important to review this location and all other city furniture locations. You have never let me down wherever i go and I will always be a return customer. Thank You!

After much shopping, I chose City Furniture to purchase a student full size loft bed with Desk, dresser, mirror, hamper, tray and bench. The shopping and order process was as pleasant as could be. The delivery; not so much. Missing pieces, incorrect items shipped. When I called to correct the issue; the "final straw" customer Rep says the desk is discontinued. All of my daughters bedroom articles have overtaken my living room to make room for her new furnishings and remodel, so all my events are on hold pending this resolution. Needless to say, I was more than upset at this burdensome inconvenience. I walked into the showroom looking for answers. Reps were courteous enough, but all very matter-of-fact, run of the mill responses. In exasperation I insisted on speaking with general manager, Ms. Shui Chang. Even as she approached me, I could sense a genuine concern, not a "going through the motions" concern. She was agile and responsive, with utter professionalism. Im amazed that I walked out of the store showroom, completely content; so much so that I made two additional purchases with Ms. Chang. She has single-handedly saved two generations worth of customers, for my daughter certainly would never have purchase from City Furniture again had this not been resolved. Cheers to Ms. Shui Chang! What an irreplaceable asset you are to your organization!!

Salesperson (Raul, I believe) was great. We hate being followed around like a hawk, but we were given the space to look freely. The moment we described what we were looking for he guided us straight to the perfect piece of furniture. Service and selection Id give 4.5 out of 5 stars. Why the 2 stars? 0 for customer service afterwards. I called three days before the furniture was to be delivered. Purchased the premium service, which for $80 entails them assembling the furniture together. I got the receipt. Then the day before the delivery I called to confirm the time. I was told that thered be no premium delivery, that theyd have to cancel the order in order to add the service on. What are we, in the medieval times? Were in 21st century and you cannot add a service to an existing order three days before the delivery date? I spoke to three different people. Was told Id get a call by Friday afternoon. Nothing. Was told Id get a call Saturday morning for the time of the delivery. Nothing. Bottom line, they decided to refund the $80. Havent received the furniture yet so I dont know what condition it might be in... but very disappointed with their ineptitude to resolve minor issues and to call back as promised.

Had a great shopping experience, online, in-store and via telephone. We ordered furniture for my daughters room and a master bedroom set and both were exactly what we were looking for based on our needs. We did have an issue with one of the dresser drawers that did not open all the way. I didnt notice it until I was putting away clothes. I called customer service and the next day a technician called to set up and appointment to fix the issue. Customer service did offer $75 to live with it as-is or come out and fix it, I chose to fix it. The technicians came and fixed the issue 2 days later in less than 30 minutes. Turned out that when the dresser was being assembled, the middle leg was wedged behind the drawer preventing it from opening - glad I chose to get that fixed. The drawer was fixed and the middle leg was inserted. Over time, if a dresser doesnt have that piece, the weight from the top can make the middle portion sag down from the weight at the top- no bueno! Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that I think furniture must be triple-checked before being delivered so a situation like this doesnt happen. But overall, everything was great and I would shop from this store again.

They damaged our new wood floor during delivery and bolted out. They were supposed to stay until we checked the furniture and make sure everything else is ok, but they left without even installing the shelves on our TV unit. I called customer service 2 minutes after they left and they told me they would come back to check the damage, but they never came. After spending over two hours speaking to different customer service supervisors, they just keep saying that they cannot do anything because the technician does not "acknowledge" the damage. Quoting a customer service supervisor: "If the technician does not acknowledge it, we cannot move forward. It is our protocol". We even sent them the pictures that show how the floor was ok when they first arrived, and how there was a hole on the wood after they left, but they still deny it. This all happened after rescheduling our delivery because the first time they showed up 4 hours late. Horrible customer service, and horrible delivery service. Avoid having furniture delivered by them!

Today I walked into Pembroke City furniture, just browsing to get few ideas. When I walk into any of City Furniture locations, I kinda have my guard up. I dont expect anything or expect friendly service. I just think its a Miami thing, standoffish. Must be something in the water. HA I love writing reviews about people that are passionate about their jobs. You dont see that very often now days. I told the gentleman right from the beginning, I was just browsing and I was getting ideas. He smiled and had a positive demeanor. He asked me a few questions, to see what was my style and asked what ideas I had in mind. He has a very up beat personality, and had a smile in his voice. Not once did he make me feel uncomfortable or feel like a burden. I believe his name was Keith,or Kelvin. Sorry, Im bad with names. I want to say Keith .. I am extremely happy and I will be back on the second week of March to purchase the items he showed me. This location now has a loyal customer.
