I was at this Publix located at2015 Edgewater Drive Orlando, FL 32804 ,Store #659 on September 1st at approximately 12:30 PM, I asked the guy in the meat department about buying Turkey meat without antibiotics, he pointed me to some ground Turkey and he also said that they were on sale. So purchased two packages of the meats. After paying for the meats and other things I noticed I was charged the regular price. I took the meat along with my receipt to the customer service counter and the store manager name Patrick told me that I wasnt supposed to be in this store because I was escorted from the store by a police officer because he said I came into the store drunk with alcohol on my breath and I also spit on him. I told him that I never talk with him before and I certainly dont drink alcohol and I have never spit on anyone. I told him he mistaken me with someone else and he told me I was lying and I had to leave the store. I reported this to Publix public relations and I also called the local police department. The police ran my driver license and told me that they couldnt find a problem and I asked them what could I do. They told me that I could file a civil suit against Publix. I am going to see what the district manager have to say and if this matter is not resolved I will file a civil suit against Publix. I spent over 21 years in the Army and I am currently in college and I have never been humiliated in my life. A week later the district manager called me and said he had to talk with the manager and he would get back to me in a couple days. The district manager called me back and apologized for the store managers behavior and said that the store manager made a mistake. I told the district manager that he don’t speak for the store manager because if the store manager discriminate against people because of their race or the store manager form stereotypes because people are black then not only does the store has a problem but Publix has a problem because they continue to allow this store manager to work at their stores.

Im sorry...this location is a disappointment. I live right around the corner, and sadly, I cant stand this Publix. It is NOT as nice as other locations. If Publix wants me to pay their high prices for groceries, then they need to make it worthwhile, and this store just doesnt cut it. First, there are only 1, maybe 2 of the nice kid carts with the steering wheels, and there is only 1 additional option for those with kids: a massive cart that has a bench attached to the regular size cart, making it nearly as long as two carts together. Its so long you cant even turn around in an aisle, and you have to do a 3-point turn to turn the corners at the end of the aisles. So after pushing the XXXL cart the around the store (that doesnt have the selection youll find at other stores) with my 2 kids, the staff didnt even offer to help me out to the parking lot with everything. Clearly, I had my hands full and was dressed in my work clothes, looking tired, with my kids, and I couldve really used a helping hand from a Publix bag boy. Honestly, they have NEVER offered to help me at this location. Again, I live around the corner, so this store is a frequent stop for me. After today, Im giving up. Then when I got out to my car, I realized the XXXL cart was too big to leave anywhere in the parking lot, because it wouldve blocked other cars, so I had to unload my groceries, then lock my kids in the car and walk the ridiculous cart-monstrosity to the cart return. I hate having to walk away from my kids while theyre in my car. Looking back, I realize that all 3 of us couldve walked together to the cart return, but I shouldnt be put in this predicament at any Publix. Gah, it was just the opposite of a shopping pleasure. Now, as a mom, Im finally relieved to say I wont be returning. Its well worth the extra 5-minute drive to go to the nearby Hollyanna location on Orlando Ave. Good riddance, Edgewater Publix. History is about the only thing this store has going for it, and I am happy to say this store is history to me.

My 28 year old daughter was very ill and I needed to get her prescriptions filled and was in a rush to get in and out of the store. The pharacist was helpful answering my questions about drug interactions and such but two of the employees, Steve, went above and beyond helping me find a few OTC items I needed and on the way out another wonderful guy helped me get my items into my vehicle. He could see how sick my daughter was and tried to cheer her up. He was very sincere and it showed us that he really cared. It brought a tear to my eyes. I wish now that Id have gotten his name but at the time all I was thinking about was getting my daughter home. It truly was an absolute pleasure shopping at my local Publix on Edgewater Drive, College Park location. To those that assisted me, THANK YOU VERY MUCH and please know that your kindness and helpfulness was highly appreciated!!!!

The deli at this publix could stand for some friendlier staff....today marks there 3rd time Ive ordered a sub there and had a less then friendly employee helping me. I was the only person in line and it took forever. This may seem petty but, when I asked for onions on my sub he said they didnt have any at the moment...and didnt even offer to cut some new ones if I didnt mind waiting. I would have happily waited..My normal publix will offer to slice, chop or restock an item at the sandwich counter if i dont mind waiting a moment. I ended up buying sliced onions for an extra $2.50(i was on lunch break so my onion slicing options were limited). I think from now on Im going to drive a bit further to try a different location because this one has been less then stellar(which i expect from Publix) every time Ive gone.

Just ordered deli platters from Publix for a party. Ordered 6 large platters to be picked up by 9:00a.m.. Not only were they ready on time but they were absolutlely perfect. Fresh soft bread, made exactly how I ordered them and the platters were very presentable. I just wanted to take the time to write a review to thank them and let them know how nice their service was. I will not hesitate to order again for my next party. : )

hey there! i love publix. the staff is always perfectly friendly and helpful. i cant come here anymore though due to the idiots at the helm of the company who want to stifle the progress of our country by spending damn near a million dollars to keep medicinal marijuana illegal. "oh man, we cant let them legalize that, think of how much that will hurt our pharmacy sales!" ...winn dixie is cheaper anyway!

The general manager, Patrick, went out of his way to look for a sale-bottle of wine that wasnt on the shelf. When he found that they were out of stock he price matched a much more expensive bottle for us. It was such a kind gesture and absolutely made our night. Thank you Patrick, the wine was delicious!
