Took my 16 year old for a belly piercing. I was told that because I was using the groupon it was $10 more than the normal price for this service. Ok I pay the $10. Also know that if you take a child that child will have to produce an id as well the parent to prove it is their child, duh. I then had to sign a piercing release form, no problem. Then I had to sign another parental release form that needed to be notarized. No problem, but alas another $10 for the notary service as well which is performed by Coco on site. Convenient. I appreciated their using strict guidelines with regards to underage patrons. The weird part was I told that the management would not take the printed paper groupon, instead I needed to download the groupon app, pull up the groupon, take a screenshot of it and email it to the managements email address. I wasnt too thrilled with that as I really hate adding apps on my phone but whatever, lets get this done. So enough about that and on to the spectacular service and employees! Coco provided the piercings for my daughter and one of her friends. He was approachable and kind, explained everything, covered all the after care, gave the girls ample time to ask questions and offered valuable advice. I was impressed by the cleanliness and care taken when providing service. So impressed by his professionalism that I had Coco redo a botched cartilage piercing on myself and the other mother had a small tattoo (her first I might add) applied to her wrist. Coco and Charlie, the tattoo artist, made us newbies feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend them for what we had done and will return should the opportunity present itself where I require their services.

A few years back I walkeded into to Tattoos by Lou, North Miami on a whim and a recommendation from a drunk dude in a bar. There I met Dickey. He has tattooed a good portion of my body in the last 3 years. His work is nothing short of amazing.he guarantees everything he does and he has the patience of a saint. But... Hes far more affordable than those shops on south beach and wynwood. This is a real tattoo shop with real artists and Dickey is the master.

I was referred to this shop from another shop that didnt have any available appointments for a while... Im so glad I ended up at Tattoos by Lou! My artist was Damien and he was awesome! I explained my vision and showed him some pics that were close to what I was looking for... but he listened to me and came up with something BETTER than what I had in mind. Im very very happy with Tattoos by Lou cleanliness, staff, and amazing artists!

I have been working on a phoenix tattoo, has actually turned into a half sleeve, my boy Dickie is the artist not only did he draw a beautiful piece, but the color and effort he has also put in has made my ink some of the most unique art you will see, tattoos by Lou 5 stars thank you Dickie, great people made me feel like family There are family now, he also gave my girl a great piece on her back. The absolute best.

I originally came here because it wasnt far from where I lived. I stayed because of the excellent service. I got my septum pierced and they walked me right through it. Even though I had to wait for the tools to be autoclaved, I was in and out fairly quickly for the most part. I really would recommend them, theyre clean, efficient, and the people that work there are amazing. 10/10.

Great place and great people. For the person below who said their friends got infections, it seems like another issue your friends may be having. Once a piercing or tattoo is done its your responsibility to keep it clean and take care of it. I get all my tattoos done here and take people to get piercings and tattoos all the time. Never an issue.

It was a great experience, I was getting a nose piercing and I was really nervous!! The guy who did it for me informed me on every step right before he did anything, and although it is kinda pricey its really safe and they do it well. Definitely worth the money! Im super happy with my results.

the service is great but the pricing can be not so reasonable, for piercings the pricing was reasonable but not for my first tattoo. i had called for a price and he gave me one and then pushed it up $20 , the tattoo itself shouldnt had been that much, but over all theyre pretty good.

Fiancé and I came in for the most simplest tattoos. She wanted a basic sun and 2 stars and both got screwed up. Both stars on her wrist are crooked/uneven and the sun has squiggly lines. This was her first tattoo and probably last.
