This review is for the salon at this location. I went in to get my ends trimmed and to have some layers and side bangs cut into my hair and I was highly disappointed with the haircut as well as the "customer service" I received. I was sent on my way with dripping wet hair, so I didnt realize what was done until I got home and dried it. My hair was cut jagged and there were chunks of shorter hair that I suppose were intended to be layers. It looked like I allowed my toddler to cut my hair. I called the next day to express my dissatisfaction and was offered to schedule another appointment with a "master stylist" (or something to that effect), to have my botched hair repaired. Once again, my hair has been hacked. This time, I even showed the stylist photos of haircuts/types of layers I liked. Im now left with less overall hair, and more chunky areas of shorter hairs that in no way, shape, or form look like layers. I will definitely not be returning and it looks like at this point, I am either stuck growing out this jagged mess, or trusting someone from another salon to fix it. Either way, I think this JCPenney salon has given me haircut PTSD. **Now that I think of it, I suppose that this is also as good a time as any to mention the experience I had at this location when I was shopping with my 2 month old baby. I asked a female associate if she would open a large dressing room for me to use so I could bring my babys stroller in. I was out shopping with my mother in law and my baby needed to eat, so my intention was to discreetly breastfeed my (2 month old) in a dressing room and be on my way. The associate asked me if I had something to try on, and I quietly mentioned to her that I just needed to use the room to feed my son. She loudly responded, telling me to use the chairs sitting in the bathroom to feed him and that she was not able to allow me to use a dressing room "for that". UMMM... REALLY? THE BATHROOM?????? I gave her a piece of my mind and asked her how often she eats her lunch in the bathroom and then she just walked away BUT another associate overheard and came over to open a dressing room without giving me a problem. I guess looking back, I should have stopped giving this JCPenney my business a long time ago.

If I could give this store a negative 5 star rating I would. I have lived in Lake City for the last 6 years and would prefer to shop here instead of Gainesville or Jacksonville. Because my husband and I do not want a JCP credit card in my name, he Has verbally authorized me to the credit card company and to the managers at JCP Lake City that I can purchase whatever, whenever. I was denied purchase today because my name is not on the card I used and I refused to let the lady call and verify if I was indeed a card holder. Did I mention that I had the cash in hand to pay the card back off immediately? I will not return.

Horrible experience. If not for my wife selecting a Christmas gift at JC Penny I would not have gone into the store. I had to wait for 20 minutes to pick up a gift I had already paid for at the jewelry counter. There were only 2 associates working the counter at 2:00 on a Saturday the week after Thanksgiving break. They finally helped me and had an attitude when they did. They had quite a few associates walking around, but none were very helpful. In the future I will pay more at a jewelry outlet than shop at Penny. The savings do not outweigh the thoughtlessness of this store or its personnel.

For the second time, I couldnt use coupon downloaded on my phone. Sales associate was stumped and could not even type in the numbers on the bar code. Ridiculous! So, I paid full price with no discount! Last time I will ever spend a dime of my money at this ghetto fabulous store! It will not give an option for ZERO stars rating!

This store never removes the alarms off of the clothing when purchasing!!! I am sick of it and have to make another trip to get them to remove it!!! Do your job!! I used to love this store but prices are high now!! They dont have many clothes for kids especially size 6 in girls.

You would think they would hire people that would act like they like their job. When I checked out my shirt at the casheir she just rang it up and handed me the receipt. Not a single thankyou or have a nice day. Very unfriendly and left me wanting to slap her ugly mug.

The ladies in the catalog area of the store are the most courteous, knowledgable, friendly and efficient! Love coming to this store. Nana in ladies is the friendliest and excellent in her skills as a salesperson!
