I love the JoAnns on Curlew in Dunedin, FL. I was in there yesterday buying a sheet of foam and some glue to re-line the inside of my glasses case. I found two ladies to help me. One of them walked me over to the glue section. I had already selected my sparkly black foam. I got out of there paying less than five dollars, and did my project today, and it looks gorgeous, even better than the original. Im going back tonight with my 20% off coupon to buy some Gesso for a triptych that is on my wall that I am going to re-do. So many things Ive made from JoAnns. Ive bought material for a bridesmaid dress. Ive bought material for choir scarfs. Ive bought thick foam and blue jean material to make a pillow for a window seat. I bought beautiful fabric to line the box for my sisters ashes for her memorial service. That was a special shopping trip I made with a girlfriend for moral support. When you create something yourself, you never forget it, and JoAnns is there supporting my creativity. Ive been to a number of JoAnns, and the one on Curlew in Dunedin is my favorite. I simply prefer the placement of their products. I think a lot of thought has gone into making it a good store, and finding things is easier there. So there you go -- my vote of confidence. And yes, it isnt perfect. Yes, there arent always associates shadowing me to answer my every question. I do have to seek them out. But I dont expect a perfect world, especially designed to please me. I DO expect my favorite businesses to operate responsibly in the black, and not in the red, because I want them to be there when I need them, and hope this JoAnns will be there for a very long time.

Staff is super friendly and nice; they constantly remodel so its nice theyll tell you where stuff is. I Cosplay and they have a great selection of things. The spray paint is locked up for some odd reason so youll have to find a person to unlock it. The cutting counter line is always long and they usually only have 1-2 cashiers open making the check out line long too. DO NOT GO SATURDAY MORNINGS YOU WILL BE THERE 3 HOURS. The fabric scraps are good for a find and things seem really expensive until you download the app to get coupons. Corridors are a bit tight if you have carts and unsupervised children can and do appear out of nowhere (not the stores fault). Bathrooms are fine, clean and well lit.

I know how important reviews are so I am cautiously leaving this one. The manager Chad was extremely rude to me tonight. He spoke down to me and just wouldnt listen or didnt care what I had to say, probably because I had a 60% off Michaels coupon to use on Tulle. He told the cashier that Michaels didnt sell tulle. I went on the Michaels app and pulled up Tulle that Michaels did, in fact, sell. He still insisted Michaels didnt sell fabric. So we didnt buy the Tulle there. Because Chad was so rude to me, I will take my Michaels coupon to Michaels from now on. Be prepared for them to give you all kind of reasons not to accept competitors coupon.

I AM BEYOND UPSET! This store is a nightmare when it comes to customer service. EVERY TIME i go there theres 2 working registers and a line half way across the store. Theres NEVER a single associate anywhere in the store to help you out when you need to find something. The fabrics department is horrible, 2 people servicing 10 - are you kidding me? On average I WASTE 40 of my life walking around and waiting in line. Unfortunately this is the only store in my area and also unfortunately they have the items I need.So have to go there. next time though I am yelling at someone, this is ridiculous!

Tried to call the Dunedin, FL store, after a long message (which I dont think is necessary), I pressed O for the operator and after ringing for about a minute, maybe two, it said it was ending the call. OH so rude! I had a simple question which the Citrus Park Store picked up the phone quickly and answered my question. Tisk, Tisk on Dunedin store. The question was if Joanns still accepted Michaels coupons. Need to speak to Dunedin Store about too long of a message and not answering.

Absolute favorite store. Love their deals and their selections. I do many crafts ranging from scrapbooking, sewing bags, making mickey ears, painting, and jewelry making. I also like to do projects i find on pinterest. I always make out with sweet deals here for all my crafting needs. Also not only take advantage of their already awesome deals but their app has coupons. Plus if you use the app Ibotta they have some rebate deals for Jo-Annes!

The employees were helpful and directing me to the proper fabric organza. However the stores fabric is a mess. Fabric is not folded around the bolts theres no draping specials is hard to find whats on sale and what isnt. Fabric was on the floor in the specialty area no organization as far as types of fabric everything is disarray. Im not sure I will return to the store on Curlew Avenue and US 19 in Clearwater Palm Harbor Florida

Ive gone here many times. However, after my last experience I wont be going back soon I hope. There is always a line to get fabric cut. Always!! I expect it during peak hours but 99% of the time come on. Also its always hard to find someone to ask a question other than the cashier or fabric desk.. and neither you want to be that person to ask and hold up the line..

I LOVE Joanns for their great prices, sales and selection, but this store is never staffed adequately at check out! I no longer go in if I just have a few minutes to grab something, because although I can find what I need quickly, it takes FOREVER to check out! Please work on the Joanns..I am a loyal customer who is in your store at least once a week!

Twice I have purchased something that was repackaged, damaged and sold as new. One was a gift that after they opened it at the party the recipient found it was missing parts. Looking closer you could see it had been used. This was embarrassing. Check to be sure it hasnt been already opened and resold as new.

Joanns is a great place for fabric, but its also a great place for holiday crafts and decorations. They usually have quite a few things discounted. You can also use their mobile app for coupons (40-50% off a regular priced item.) I recommend going after the holiday, so you can really cash in on their sales.

I literally do everything in my power to avoid this horrible store. I own my own business and literally spend thousands a year on craft supplies. I try very hard to get all of my supplies somewhere else. The staff is miserable and the manager us EXTREMELY RUDE.

I used to work for joanns and I loved it. Now I rather go to Michaels craft store. The only time I go to joanns is if Michaels doesnt have what Im looking for, which is not that often. I do go here if I need fabric great variety.

Hit and miss with this store. They have amazing coupons but I rarely have an opportunity to use them. Everythings already on sale. They often dont have what Im looking for but its still fun to go browse and find something new.
