Went to this pharmacy on 11/06/2012 at about 6:40PM for 2 antibiotics. One was on the "Free list" the other was not. Ive always had exceptional services at Publix Pharmacy, except this one. I said hello to the tech "Pat", she acknowledged me, and I waited to drop off these 2 Rxs for 6 minutes - yes I timed it. Come on...Really?I was the only person, standing there, waiting in the drop-off area. I had filled a few prescriptions at Publix Pharmacy before, but "Pat" insisted that I had never filled here, when she could have done, whats called a Corporate Search using my phone number/last name and first name and DOB (that checks the databases of all Publx Pharmacys). No big deal, now I have 2 files. Which is a bad thing when dealing with medication. I told her that I would mind coming back in an hour, because I had some things to do. She explained that these would take 15 minutes. Oh yeah? Thanks Pat, that surely will save me time. Well I fart around in Publix, coming back in 20 minutes (Time was now 7:08PM. I swing by in the pick-up area, making eye contact with Pat, gesturing if my Rxs are ready - nothing. I waited an additional 7 minutes in the waiting area - nothing. I walk around Publix one more time...slowly. Fed up with waiting, I return and just stand there staring at both the pharmacist and "Pat". I stood there for another 5 minutes. Before the pharmacist asked if I was picking up, and looked like he was finishing my my Rxs which took another minute. It was 7:20PM when I finally left. It took all of 38 minutes, and before you judge me, I timed this experience only to write the review afterwards. 38 minutes!? I totally understand the concept getting everything correct in a prescription - hell I even worked in a Publix Pharmacy. But dont try and rush me out of the pharmacy and tell me 15 minutes when it clearly wont take that amount of time...And ignoring the fact that I even offered to come back later! Moral of the story is that maybe Pat was having a bad day, maybe she was just about to leave when I showed up. I will never know. One positive thing was that the pharmacist at least asked if I had any questions. This review isnt about her as a person, nor the pharmacist as a person, just about the service, and my experience here. Although I will still use Publix Pharmacy, I will not come here. This was my first time here, and I was disappointed.

Weve complained to corporate more than once regarding the girl with the rude attitude at the front counter. (Tall with brown hair, you cant miss her) Her mother works at corporate so she has job protection. Shes given us a hard time on multiple occasions in filling our handicapped daughters prescriptions. She has no business working in that position, she has no compassion or care about the people she supposed to be helping. And she clearly doesnt understand how important her job is in society. Other than her theyre all pleasant people to deal with.
