Today, Marks the second time that I had to speak to a representative to find out what was going on with an order an earlier sales associate placed for me. Another representative tells me today, it was canceled. Ive been placing the same order for the same item; its only one figurine, by the way. I understand the holidays are a busy time, but I placed the first order way before Halloween, and that was also, supposedly, "canceled". When I first asked the rep why this happened, they simply said, "I dont know...." This second time, the order was put in closer to Thanksgiving, and its led me to the same dead end. Not to mention, they hung up on me because a different representative picked up the phone and had no idea why I was on hold. Again, Ive worked in retail and in the fast food industry over the holidays too, and I know it sucks, but theres a difference between being busy and total lack of customer service or organization (By the way this took place around 6 pm).

Sunday 5/8... 1210 PM... I walk into the store and pick up $67 worth of magazines... I need one more, The New Yorker, I visually search everywhere and cannot find it. I ask at the register for help, the girl says "if its not here (points to the displays by the counter) or back there we dont have it". I go to the Customer Desk (a guy and a girl stand behind the counter), I ask for help finding The New Yorker, they check the computer.. "says we have 11 back there" the guy says. I ask where in the magazine section, since Ive been looking without success.. "we only know about books..." the guy says. "Only one person works the magazines" he adds. I ask who, "Shes not here" he says and gives me a blank stare. No offer for help from anyone. I put down my $67 worth of magazines and walk out the store.

I called this store as the book I needed was shown as limited stock.I called 4 times and was left on hold for approx 10minutes each time before the phone cut off. Twice I got to a voice that said she would put me through to customer services and then I was left to hold for 10 more minutes before I got cut off.So I drove from Doral all the way down to the store on a dreadful rainy evening to be told be a bunch of kids on the customer service ( too busy chatting to themselves to serve people until you ask them) that " oh no we don;t have that" . A total waste of time. Lots of young people doing nothing but chatting to each other too busy to answer a phone ...

The service sucks! I had to wait an hour and half for the worker to show up at the "costumer service" station! And then when I asked for the books they didnt had any of the ones I was looking for! I had to wait for him to order them. Then I started walking through the language section and I overheard him say to another person "I bet she doesnt even read." What the hell?! Im never going there again. Dont waste your time there.

Es un lugar espectacular para relajarse, adentro tiene un Starbucks y tienes acceso no solo a un buen café si no a todo el tipo de lectura que desees. Buena atención.buen clima lo recomiendo.

Its a really relaxing atmosphere once you walk through the door. Theres a starbucks here and even though there is another one outside on the corner, i think youre better off coming inside where you can enjoy some good coffee in a more laid back environment. Stick your nose in a good book and remove yourself from the frantic pase of the day to day.

They have listening stations that you can scan a CDs barcode and listen to sample tracks. It seems to work on any CD in stock.. I tried some pretty obscure CDs and they worked just fine... nice try-b4-u-buy feature and not a bad way to pass some time while waiting on a table from one of the many busy restaurants in the area.

Staff was helpful when I couldnt find what I was looking for! And they have a good selection of books considering their location/size. I usually find what Im looking for there. A small gripe I have is that theres not a lot of sitting, but its not annoying enough to give them only 4 stars.

This Barnes and Noble on Miracle Mile is somewhat of a fixture in Coral Gables. I have been going there for years for some quiet reading time. It is typical Barnes and Noble, with a cafe. It has about 20 tables in the cafe area but it can get full quick, especially on the weekends.

Chain bookstore run as one would expect. Not much personalized service, and the facilities can either be recently renovated or random, depending on the season. They do have a great selection and can order more if need be. Very diverse magazine department is also appealing.

Its a good enough Barnes and Noble except for the generally chaotic state of upkeep. The place reeks of corporate indifference: everyone who works there seems to be keen on collecting a paycheck at minimal effort. Do yourself a favor and head to Books & Books a block down.
