Its very dirty and in a complete disarray every time I go in. Homeless ppl. are laying right outside the store on the ground under blankets at the bus stop and there are ALWAYS between two and three police cars on the sidewalk making it difficult to feel the place is safe. I wont even mention how bad the produce section smells or how extreme the Sulfur smell is every time you walk through this stores front doors by McDonalds. The (Australian or Irish?) manager is always running around like a madman doing his best but the cashiers at this location are in need of some SERIOUS training in Customer Service. They are mostly rude and it feels as if theyre always rushing you out the door. Dont bother asking anyone for help in the aisles bc once youve found someone to help they disappear and never come back to resolve the issue. Also I understand deliveries and stocking needs to occur but there are huge wooden pallets and dollies on the floor AT ALL TIMES making it difficult to move around freely in the refrigerated section especially... I just think this location could really use some help Managerial Wise. The Lockwood /University Walmart puts this location to shame.

Its a Walmart. Be sure to check products for roaches. One ran out of box from a new coffee maker as I was taking it out to parking lot. Second incident was an experience my wife when through. She purchased 2 dresses, same make, brand, etc. Just different color. 1 of the 2 did not have a price tag. She went through the self check out and scanned the price of the one with the tag 2 times (to make up for the lack of a tag). On her way out, security stopped her and told her she was "shop lifting". She showed them the lack of tag and the receipt which had both prices scanned on the receipt. They told her that what she did was wrong, but that she should have checked with the clerk and offered no apology for the lack of tag and accusation. My wife was came home nearly crying, saying she thought she was going to be arrested from Walmart security message and the ever present sheriffs cruiser in the parking lot. Both of us, never again this Walmart.

I came into this Walmart at 10:10 a.m. December 13, 2016. I was rudely welcomed by the lady in the front who greets people. She was an older Caucasian lady. I had my dog in a bag and she asked me if it was a service dog. I believe it didnt matter if shes in the bag not bothering anyone. I went ahead and went back to my car and placed in the car with the windows down. Came back in and she avoided me along with speaking with another employee about me. Couldnt get her name because she didnt have one. I rated 1 star only because when I left. The lady at the register politely greeted me but she was sitting down. No one asked me if I needed help with anything while I was shopping or when I came in. The walmart always has a funny smell when you walk in. Overall, this Walmart is not the best if youre looking for cleanliness and courtesy. I believe it needs to be shut down, remodeled, and BETTER employees.

Im a handicapped person who requires a motorized cart to shop. Its always difficult to obtain one because there are many elderly in this area. Today there were no carts available but I saw one with no one using it just inside the doors near the "Nail Salon". I attempted to sit on it and a woman who was having her nails done stopped me and said it was "hers". Well, she was in the salon for ONE HOUR, all the while the cart say waiting for her. There should be some store policy regarding this behavior. I attempted to get help with a few employees and they all said there was "nothing they could do". Why not? Dont I have as much right as she does? Maybe a 10min limit on "holding" an unused cart? I wont be back here.

The Sheriffs Department cruiser parked on the sidewalk right outside of the entrance should have been a tip off. This store is a Third World Walmart dropped in the middle of Bradenton. Im not sure who is more rude, the customers or the sales associates. It could be Black Friday and they would only have two lanes open- one of which would be staffed by an associate who does not know what a cash register is. I would caution you to check the expiration dates, but I bought a gallon of milk that was no where near the sell by date and found out it was spoiled when I got home. Save yourself the frustration (and time) and shop elsewhere.

Not only did your store refuse to honor a price shown on your website (apparently every Walmart manager gets to set their own prices) but then when my wife asked for the CSMs name to call corporate, the CSM had the nerve to roll her eyes! Oh and your website, HORRIBLE - it says that an item we want was in stock at multiple stores, then the store on SR 64 does not have the item in stock and tells us your store has 5, then we get to your store and theres 1 in stock - and for $50 more! Thatll be the last time I ever deal with Walmart in any way!

My disabled friend needed a riding cart and the woman at the door told him to walk down to the other side of the store for one. He told this black woman he cant get that far she just pointed toward the the other entrance, when he asked for a manager she refused to call one. This clearly was a racial issue on her part. A custodian put down his broom and went a got him one. She still refused the entire time to call a manager over. This Haitian woman was the rudest person and has no business dealing with the public!!!!

Walmart service is awful to begin with. I waited to pick up an item I ordered online for 35 minutes nobody was at the desk! The employees were passing by, not giving a care in the world. I asked for help several times, never received help. Finally when the employee that works the pick up desk decided to show, I was informed that they did not have what I ordered and was told I need to get something different. What the hell.

I do my best to stay away from big box stores because I prefer to keep my business local but there are some days when convenience wins. They get 2 stars for being convenient (also, the last employee I dealt with was very pleasant). Ive visited this store maybe 3 times and everytime the stores grocery entrance reeks of rotten sewage. Its pungent and makes me want to vomit. Maybe next time Ill try the garden entrance.

Not gonna lie, probably the sketcheist Walmart in the area, but majority of the people are nice and friendly, they remember regular faces and some truly do want to know how youre doing if you come in often. Store is relatively clean, but sometimes the bathrooms could use some work. Hard to find someone in specialty departments too often though.
