If youre an organics fan, youll love Yes! Organic Market. Set right next to the Eastern Market Metro, its super convenient to pick up a few organic items before headed home. If you need to park for a larger shopping spree, there should be street parking a few blocks away if you cant find any near the market. If youre stopping by just to pick up a few items, its a good spot too. They have everything from fresh produce (they even had red cabbage!), fresh bread and quick serve items like ready to drink iced tea (Shout out to Honest Tea!). Since its organic and right in Eastern Market, its all more expensive than Safeway or Harris Teeter, but the if you just need 1-2 items, the convenience may be worth it. They also have a bakery section with pastries and fresh coffee too!

They have a nice selection of items you wont find in many other grocery stores, and if you live near 8th St, it might be a more convenient destination in a pinch than the closest large supermarket options. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Anyhow, I get that its organic and you should expect to pay a premium, but good god I still dont know how they justify their prices. I typically only swing by if I want something really specific or I get a craving and dont feel like driving to Harris Teeter/Safeway.

This store is too expensive but I have gone a few times for basic needs. Bought a milk and I realized when I got home it had been opened and drunk, and when I called the store about it they said that I could bring the receipt and get a new one. When I got there he insisted that I needed the old carton to return it, even though he acknowledged that he had told me the receipt was enough a half hour earlier. Very unhelpful and rude, Im never coming back.

RACIST, DISCRIMINATION, AND UNHOSPITABLE, AND THATS ME BEING NICE ABOUT THE STORE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR MANAGEMENT. WILL NEVER RETURN. AFTER VARIOUS INCIDENTS, MY LAWYER WILL RETURN, BUT I WONT. IF YOU FIT A CERTAIN DESCRIPTION YOU WILL BE FOLLOWED. I HAVE SPENT MAYBE OVER 2,000 DOLLARS AT THE YES MARKET IN ABOUT 2 YEARS, AND THATS FROM A COLLEGE BUDGET AND FOR THEM TO TREAT ME LIKE THAT IS NOT RIGHT. POOR, POOR, POOR.

The selection and price of organic/cage-free eggs here is ALWAYS better here than Safeways or Harris Teeter on 14th St. Those two always seem to be out of the eggs I want (and the shelves often a mess). About half the time, theres a loss-leader sale on eggs. Other stuff in the store, however, is 2-3 times more expensive. Good to grab quick produce.

A filled supermarket that has an interesting mix of items, but has the essentials. They had a great flower selection when I had to stop in on the way to a brunch. The selection was a bit limited because of the small size, but the prices werent more than what Id expect for an organic specialty store in the heart of Barracks Row.

I love the staff here. Very helpful in finding specific products, and they keep the shelves stocked. Buying organic is expensive, I couldnt afford to shop here weekly, unless I ate like a bird. Butttt...they have a great selection of kombuchas, bulk purchase items, and wine (oh yes the wine).

Great selection of many products including produce. However, recently I bought some of the fish there and it was already going rancid by that same night. The meats are probably ok there, but seafood is very sensitive and they just let it sit and sit (haphazardly, in my opinion).

This store is way to pricey and they are racist. Always I clearing told the cashier no bag and she sneakily tact the bag fee on to my purchase. She thought she could try and get over on me and think I wouldnt notice. Dont go here this place is to expensive and untrustworthy.

I go here all the time. A bit pricey, but its a nice shop. I hope they will offer a vegetarian soup daily, not just sometimes. Also some stevia-sweetened chocolate. I love the tea section- for the hot chocolate, it would be great an option to warm up milk.

Small supermarket with a hugh selection of organic & healthy food options. As well as biodegradable cleaning products , social responsible produced items & alternative , cruelty free body products. Some of the friendliest employees you will encounter.

I love this place! A little more pricey than say Safeway, but organic, beautiful produce, huge wine selections, neat local products, great coffee from around the world! Plus the markets neighbor-centered mission is why I started going!

Staff is friendly and helpful, but have gotten quite a bit of bad food (naan is moldy almost every time I buy it..). Pricey, but its an "organic" (read the tag, folks) market on Capitol Hill...what can you expect?

Although the workers were nice, I was almost over-charged for taco seasoning. If Im not a Federal auditor, I probably wouldnt have noticed (they almost charged me for 3 packets instead of 2 packets).

Decently stocked. Rather pricey but you knew that already. Convenient. Wish it had a larger meat section, but with traditional grocery stores carrying organic meat more often, its not a huge deal.

Great selection of organic goods. The employees were especially helpful. We walked there for healthy snacks and coffee and we were not disappointed! I cant wait to go back!

I liked it so far. I mean yesterday was my first time. They have very nice people that work there also. I think I just found me a nice neighborhood grocery store.

The store is small and a little crammed with merchandise but I was happy that prices were not crazy high and I got what I needed right away and got out. Thanks!

This place is just awesome. Carries great produce and items and is way cheaper than MOMs and mostly cheaper than Whole Foods. I wish I lived closer!

Good variety, if a bit pricy neighborhood grocer. This place has a lot of organic and smaller-production stuff you cant find at the Giant or HT.

This is my go-to shop for special ingredients. The selection is great and sometimes even cheaper than Whole Foods or Harris Teeter!
