Capitol Fine Wine & Spirits is awesome, very friendly guys that take special orders on beer that they dont typically carry in stock. The store is nice and its always fun to dig around in the back looking for some hidden gems.

Selection is modest. But at least it is local. Prices are fair, probably good for the D.C. area, but high for most Californians. You should be able to find a quite drinkable claret.
