I gave this Walmart 3 stars because the prices are as expected for Walmart however when I went to ring out my order the #of the register was flashing yet again it seems every time I go to this Walmart and I go to cash-out there is a light blinking at the cash-register and it always takes a long time for someone to come and help out the cashier I dont know if they are not trained very well Im not sure or they are they just not allowed to do anything but scan items and if they dont scan an item and have to do something else they have to call their superior I dont know what the deal is over there but it wastes time and they make You wait, today I waited for 10 to 15 minutes before it was my turn And sometimes the wait can be even longer also, I know this is my fault I accidentally used my Walmart Mastercard thinking it was my debit-card from my bank and it asked me if I wanted cash-back and I said yes thinking it was my bank card but then I realized it was my Walmart card that I had put in to the card machine and when I asked the cashier to please void the transaction and start over and that I would give her back the money she asked her superior if it would be possible to do that and they told me that there is nothing they could do so I called my Walmart card and I knew that there is probably nothing that they could do either but I just wanted to make them aware that there should be a way for the cashier to void everything and return everything so that they could start the transaction over because I know it was my mistake but I just wanted to return the money or return all the merchandise and start over so the Wal-Mart credit company is ridiculous for not letting the store have that option. Any way to sum it up make sure you are using the right credit card at the time of purchase if you are getting cash back otherwise once you take the cash thats it youre stuck with it and if you want good prices and dont mind watching the blinking light at the register and waiting a long time to cash out then go to this walmart.

Place is madness. In sequence. It starts off trying to find a parking spot and people jumping in front of cars exiting the store. Most likely youll settle for a spot thats in the middle end of the parking lot and near shopping carts astray from where they belong. You walk in and are looking at a long slow line for returns or cashing checks. You grab your cart and shop. Shopping for the most part is straight to the point. The employees are not very helpful in most sections and you will be stuck waiting a while if they dont ignore you. Dont go there around the first through fifth of the month in the afternoon because itll be packed especially for food and thats no disrespect towards anyone and their means of getting by. Just speaking of the space, lines, and quantity for anyones convince. Usually the checkout lines are long and you can never understand why all registers are never opened. Before you leave you will probably be half-assed item and receipt checked for stolen merchandise. Return back to your car and hope that nobody scratched or dented your car up lol.

Ive been to Walmart on Rubber Ave several times to go shopping.. Im handicap and the last several times I been there I have not been able to get a Handicap power cart to go shopping.. You have plenty of handicap parking spots, but you only have 6 power carts for the handicap people and one of the carts dont even have a power cord..I dont understand why there are 20 handicap parking spots and only 5 handicap carts for shoppers.. You would think for a big shopping center that there would be more Handicap carts..Either get more carts, or get rid of the handicap parking spots..Handicap people cant go out and do things normal people do so they go shopping.. If you have 20 handicap parking spots then you should have 20 handicap shopping carts..Or you should have a reserve phone number so you can reserve a cart for shoppers..I will never shop there again .You will loose a lot of money because of this problem..I will go to Target from now on I never have a problem like this at there stores..

Its a decent WalMart, but its in Waterbury, so waddya expect? Anyways, one of my biggest complaints is that this place is D-I-R-T-Y! I guess the storage department in the back is flooded with items, because sometimes there will be a MOUNTAIN of boxes in the middle of an isle! The floor looks like it only gets mopped once a month (especially in the winter) and it just looks an overall mess. The staff is nice an attentive, though. I guess at the end of the day, thats what really matters. Theres Subway and nail salon at this WalMart, which is pretty cool.

Waited around for about 30 minuetes for an employee to come to the sporting good section to unlock one of the cases for ammunition because only 1 person has a key, Went there knowing exactly what i needed but ended up playing a waiting game for the entire time was there for almost an hour because at that point there were so many people for the same thing then had to cash us all out... very much slack from that department. And dont even think about going here for a cupple days close to the 1st of the month completely packed for food stamps.

Waterbury Walmart sucks! I ordered something to get same day pick up then specifically called to see what time that area closed the girl said 11 so I rushed over there to be told by two different people that they close at 9 then another said 10... wasted a trip and rushed for nothing just to be pointed from one person to the next! Horrible customer service!

Guys dont pay 10$ insurance for car new tire replacement they will lost this 10$ trust me because when something happen to that tire will find excuse to not benefit that insurance It happened to me I replace new tire paid 10$ insurance when my tire need to be fixed they said o yeah this tire need ilunement Laying people Be ware be ware be ware

Bad customer service, none of the employees greet customers and most dont even say what your total owed is. They could learn something from the employees at the Naugatuck or Southington Wal-Marts. I live less than 5 mins from Waterbury Wal-Mart, and Id rather travel to Naugatuck or Southington because of the great customer service!

Horrible service , have been calling for two days seeing if they have a comforter in Stock, the first time she claimed she didnt hear me and hung up, second time the employee picked up and hung up, third time she put me on hold for 15 minutes and forgot all about me. Rude employees and rude customers then again its waterbury walmart.

Cashiers are usually friendly, the store is kind of clean, half of associates know the answer when asked about the location of items and the deals are generally good, especially if you buy in bulk. This store has a nails place. There is a Subway too but this makes the entire store very smelly.
