I went to this package store and the owner Vikas Patel sold me a bottle of liquor He then called the Police on me stating that I was DUI. ( I was stone cold sober. When I was breath tested blew a 000). He did not know my name but gave a plate number and detailed description of my car, and of me. Thinking that I did nothing wrong I admitted to the Police that I had in fact been to the Package Store and purchased liquor. Which I am 45 years old and can legally do. I confronted Mr. Patel (the next day) as the Police told me that he was the one that had placed the call, and he admitted that he had called the Police, and looked at the floor. I told him that he had lost my business as I went there a couple of times a week, and that I would make others aware of his practices. Patel has been previously shut down for several weeks for selling liquor to minors and I believe that he is working with the Police to catch people for DUI as some type of effort to earn creditablilty. Needless to say he got the wrong person.....as I am going to tell everyone. I am outraged that the Police came to my home and, that I had to take a breath test on my front steps. I do not advise anyone to go here. You will be sold liquor with a smile and then the next thing you know the Police are on your door step trying to charge you with DUI and demanding a breath test on your door step. Buy Safe....Drive Safe!!

I will preface this review with the notion that I am not a teeny tiny person but I still have the ability to run a mile and complete yoga on a daily basis. With that being said today I was completely mortified by the actions of an employee at this establishement and felt utterly violated. Ive been to this package store a few times a month for as long as I can remember even before moving to town. Today after an exceptionally long day of errands and dealing with the holiday I stopped in to get some libations. As I turned the aisle with my purchases I heard the snapping of a cell phone camera. I had caught the woman behind the counter, presumably the owners wife(?), shuffling to put her cellphone down on the counter and accidentally snapping a photo of my purchases. She kept hiding the preview screen on her phone as she fumbled to ring up my purchases. At the end of the transaction I confronted her and asked her if shed taken a picture of me. Her response was "yes, I wanted your picture" I told her to delete the photos immediately which she did and when I asked again WHY she did it her response was "I needed a picture". I have never felt degraded like that in my life. I will make certain that I, nor any people I know, patronize that establishment again.
