We traveled from out of town on our way to the casino. The tattoo artist, Mo, met us there early to accommodate our schedule. At the time of this review Mo was new to the shop but had been a tattoo artist for about two years. He has the skill of a seasoned pro. Mo is an artist and was an artist prior to doing tattoos so his artistic attention to detail carried over to his tattooing. My wife and I both got worked on by Mo as he is currently the only artist in the shop. I have many tattoos from all over the place. Mos work is beyond exceptional and I consider it the best ink on my body. We will certainly be going back even though we live far away. Bottom line is, yes, you should try this place out. Mo is amazing. The shop itself is going to be undergoing some work to update it in the future.

Ive been coming here since I was 16 years old. And ever since then only Mr. Kat has been doing my piercings. Ive gotten my hips pierced, my belly pierced, and my tongue pierced only at Franklin ink! All of my piercings healed perfectly fine and I never had a problem with any of my piercings. My sister took me to get my nose pierced at a different shop I ended up having to go back to Franklin Ink. to get my nose piercing fixed because my nose ring they put in was, just not right at all! If you want to get something pierced or any kind of tattoo go to Franklin Ink!!! The owner/the manager Mr. Kat is probably the best person you could ever interact with!

I went to Franklin Ink Tattoo to get my nipples pierced Mr Cat Carl was amazing you made me feel comfortable and walk me through the whole process explain to me how to take care of them what to do and what not to do I would recommend Franklin Ink Tattoo for any piercing at first I was very scared but he allowed me to calm down explain to me how to breathe and it was painless Was truly an amazing experience thanks again Franklin Ink Tattoo & Mr Cat (Carl)

Awesome experience. The front desk receptionist was very polite, and had an amazing playlist. I came here to get my nipples pierced, I went in very nervous but left with an unforgettable experience. The owner was my piercer, and he explained the after care really well. Seeing as I was nervous, he eased the mood quite a bit with light humor. Very clean, professional, a welcoming area, and reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend a friend in the future.

I got my industrial piercing done here receantly and the experience was amazing. It was virtually painless and the piercer Mr.Cat, was patient and very thoughtful and considerate and patient and accommodating in consideration of my phobia of needles. Went in and everything was fine and the one who was going to pierce my nose was very nice and polite but one of the other workers was very rude toward my mom telling her to leave when she was talking on the phone knowing well she didnt understand English and right after that she went to the car he kept saying very rude comments about it While I was signing the papers .

Mr. C is awesome. Went in for a piercing today in an "odd" spot. He is definetly knowledgeable. I kind of quizzed him on anatomy, as I am a nurse. Procedure went smooth. He definetly talks to you throughout everything and is actually funny. I was relaxed as you can be for a piercing. No pressure at all. Hes done 90% of my piercings. Im a forever customer. ❤️❤️

Horrable!!! I went in to gt my sternum peircing done there. They constantly kept Hitting On my friend. Egnored my other friend. Rushed me. -didnt know what a surface pericing was -gave me the wrong jewelry. FAKE. -wasnt lined up properly. Everything was a mess. Got it taken out by another place and they said it was all fake. Never go here!

Mr.cat is amazing we went to a couple shops in west hartford one in particular black diamond and they charging to much for belly piercing and thej where not Minority Friendly but franklin ink only charged 40 for nose and i will definitely be coming back for more

Mr. Cat was my piercer. He was clean and his jokes offered comedy relief . He was appropriate unlike some other places . He held good conversation and walked me through caring for my piercing. The prices were reasonable. Although, I walked in he was speedy.
