I had purchased a used fat PS2, a controller, and a used copy of Final Fantasy 7 from Level 01 and they werent up to my standards and the disk #1 was scratched up on Final Fantasy 7 and wouldnt play. I went back to the store and complained about how my used fat PS2 had a couple scratches and defects on it, how the controller had a hole in the wiring with tape over it, and how my Final Fantasy 7 disk #1 was scratched and wouldnt play. The manager Nick immediately replaced the console with a better condition one and gave me another PS2 controller in better condition for free, he also said he was going to slap whoever put the defect PS2 package together which I really hope that he did. He then put my scratched Final Fantasy 7 disk in their $7000 dollar disk repair machine and it came out looking good as new and it plays 100% he did all of this for free and I was very pleased. I was also unhappy about the replacement controller they gave me so I bought another one that Nick gave me a discount on and it only ended up costing me $12 dollars. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for older consoles and games or anyone who needs a disk repaired. They have great customer service and Nick was very helpful. Nick definately deserves a raise.

Ive been to this store many times over the past year and a half and Im a big fan of it. Ive always enjoyed video games, especially old ones, and Im glad this is a store that specializes in old/retro video games. Every time Ive been to this store, the employees are friendly and like to engage in friendly conversations with customers, which I think is great for a video game store. What I also really like about this store is how much it offers. There are video games and accessories for a wide variety of different video game platforms. Not only does this place offer retro video games, but they also fix game cartridges that dont save data anymore. I have never tried this out personally because I havent had a need to get a game cartridge fixed, but I think its wonderful that its something that can be done at this place. If anyone out there is a big fan of retro video games and or video game accessories, this place is a great option to choose. Ive been going to the Danbury Fair Mall for over a decade and this store is my favorite in the entire mall. I make a stop to this store every time I visit the mall, and I almost always leave with a purchase. I look forward to visiting Level 01 Video Games again whenever I go to the Mall again in the near future.

The spiritual sequel to FUNCOLAND! Go here instead of GameStop. The people who work here are great (especially Nick) and they never try to push weird stuff on you. Imagine going into a video game store and not having people pressure you to pre-order some crap! Also they will give you cash (in reasonable amounts) for your used stuff. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome as a old school collector I go atleast once a week and pick up NES SNES and GENESIS games at reasonable prices also the staff is excellent very Intelligent and smart on all systems I think there names are cody and fredo very kool guys they always help me when I trade in atleast once a week!!!!thanks guys phil

Easily the best video game store around CT! Video game/console repairs, tons of classics, and the workers there are infinitely more helpful than any kid youd find at gamestop. This store has a lot of heart and is of the few reasons the Danbury mall is still worth going to anymore. ❤️
