Honestly, this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever confronted. After a nice brunch my mother and I decided to visit Joann Fabrics. They store was tidy and well stocked but once we were ready to check out everything started going down hill. There was only one cashier for a long amount of time and eventually she gained enough sense (after seeing the long line of people) to call up another employee. The family that was in front of me obviously were new to the U.S. and had a hard time speaking english. The cashier repeatedly kept on asking them for the date of birth for the glue they were attempting to buy. The couple was well into their 30s and had no idea what she was saying. I suggested to her that she put in a random birth date to save everybody time and trouble. But she persisted on asking them, after a good amount of time they left behind all of their items and left the store. When it was our time to go she found a way to screw up our experience and order as well. Our total was 25.79 and we gave her 26.00. She typed in the wrong amount of money (which was less then we gave her) so the registered said we owed money. A good cashier would acknowledge they made a mistake give us our change back (which was a whopping .21 cent) and type in the remainder of the money owed and send us on our way. But this girl did not know how to do this, I was telling her what to do and so was the other cashier but she was not comprehending what we were communicating to her. We said forget and the left the damn store swearing to never come back. I am not sure if this employee was mentally challenged, hard headed, or poorly trained. She did not belong on the register. I hope the manager I complained to took the story to mind and had a chat with the employee and her position.

No custom framing department even though the website said that they did under the NorthGlenn and Westminster location.... Need to update Your website and give your customers accurate info!!! I drove to two Jo-Annes the one in Westminster. Westminster used to have a framing department at the old location, at the new location on Sheridan no framing department, ok fine. So i looked at Joannes website and drove to the NorthGlenn location as it also said custom framing department, only to find out when I got there that this Joannes dont have one either... I was told I have to go to Loveland or Denver or Colorado Springs !?!?! As I have now waisted over hour of my time driving around town. I will be taking all my business to Hobby Lobby or Michaels from now on.

I have had many experiences in this store that havent been good. And I have called corporate and spoken to the manager. But nothing actually changes. From long long lines to employees not helping and definitely NOT going the extra mile. I come from Utah was there 5 years and my store back there was SO friendly and helpful. Ive been here not even 6 month and have had more bad experiences then I ever had out there. So if you come in this store plan on having more bad experiences then good. I choose to continue going because there isnt a store closer to get my crafts and fabric. So I just cross my fingers and hope all will be good this time around.

I was in Jo-Ann Fabrics June 21st, 2017. I was getting some fabric cut and saw the fabric had something wrong with it. I asked the sales woman whom was cutting my fabric what was wrong with the fabric? before she could answer my question... another young sales girl jumped into our conversation. (First of all that was very rude of her.) This conversation had nothing to do with her. She started to argue with me about what I saw. I asked her to stop arguing with me She continued to tell me that she was educating me! Im in my last 50s I didnt need an education regarding fabric. The store manager didnt care.

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but this fabric store has issues. The people working there act as if they just had root canals! They dont seem like they want to be there, and seem annoyed if you have a question. Last night there were only 3 people in the entire store, with the manager nowhere to be seen, until she was called to help the long lines at the cut table and registers. Its too bad that it is the only real option for a fabric store in the north area other than Walmart...

I went there on a fri, asked one older lady for some help, woow, you would have thought Id asked if I could spit her face or something, acted as if it was a real bother, to answer a question for a customer. So when I did finally find what I was looking for, the lady that measures material, was just as RUDE, I will never step foot in that store again, talk about NOT knowing what customer service is. Thank GOD there are other fabric stores in the area.

The ladies at the sewing/fabric counter were super helpful, the manager however, was the rudest person Ive ever had the displeasure to encounter. The cashiers were ok, though not exactly friendly. I warn you though, avoid dealing with the manager, she is beyond rude, judgemental, and all in all unpleasant to deal with. I will not be visiting this location, if I ever visit the chain again, thanks to her.

Walked in with a smile, and left putting my things back and not buying a single item. As mentioned before the staff doesnt want to be there. I asked a younger girl where a certain fabric was and she just told me its on the north side of the store. Then after I found what I was looking for the older lady, Brenda, was extremely rude, and wouldnt even acknowledge me. WILL NOT EVER GO BACK!

Never had a problem! Other bad experiences were impatient people.... I always find what I need and they both price match AND take competitors coupons. Plus, they have newer staff now. Im overall happy every time I go. Only time you wait long is when theres actually alot of people shopping which is usually Sundays and just before rush hour.

I hope you like waiting an hour to buy something, because everyone here moves at a snails pace (when theyre not just strait up ignoring you). But that also assumes that they even have what you need. This location has such a smaller inventory than their old location off of 88th. So dont bother even going here, its not worth your time.

Friendly, helpful staff. They offer great coupon advice so you can get the best savings. They have fabric in stock when all the other locations are out of stock. Will check stock if you call ahead and reserve it for you. On busy days it can have too many crying children or uncontrolled children running around. Avoid weekend days.

Rude staff and fabric is messy, dirty, and out of place. I tried using a coupon for my material and they wouldnt use it because it was supposedly a doorbuster material...how am I supposed to know that with no signs and everything is mixed up? They need to work on their customer service.
