We LOVE this store! I was buying our high-end "raw" pet food on Amazon. We have cats that throw up and a dog that will eat anything, lol. I was buying Honest Kitchen dehydrated raw food online, but our cats were not liking it - they only have chicken and duck (I think) flavors for cats and our cats are seafood fiends. We heard about a Canadian brand, First Mate, canned dog food (tuna flavor!) that also has taurine, so will work for cats - but is not really available online. We stopped into Petz Love to see what they had for raw/limited ingredient food. Well, they have EVERYTHING - and if they dont have it, they will order it for you. The owner and manager of the store are pet nutritionists - they have degrees in it - I didnt even know that was a thing! We have been in a couple of times now and worked with each of them. They really know their stuff and use their own products with their pets, so can speak to things like texture, calories, etc. For example, did you know that you are supposed to feed your dog different types of proteins or it can cause health problems? I didnt know that - most of my experience has been with cats, which are the opposite. As for price/costs (which is a big deal to me), their prices are maybe $2-3 higher than Amazon discounted subscribe and save, BUT most of the high-end brands offer buy 10/12, get one free, so if you buy 10 boxes of $53 dog food (vs. $50 on Amazon), you get a free $53 box of food free, for a $30 difference in price, so I actually save $23. Some of the brands (such as First Mate), offer 10% off of a case of canned food AND the free case after 10/12 program. Amazon doesnt offer the brand programs. AND Petz Love has coupons out there - they even tell you where to find them when you are in the store, lol. One of the coupon mailers has coupons and so does the back of Safeway receipts. The coupons are for $5 off of $30 purchase, and I think there is a $10 off $60. Anyway, you get the idea! Buying food from Petz Love is not more expensive (as I and many would assume of a boutique pet store) - and is in fact less expensive than anywhere else Ive found.

I happened to be in Lone Tree this weekend involved in a performance at the Arts Center. I live in Evergreen and needed cat food, but wasnt able to get to my home pet food store because of time and location constraints. My cats needed food and I wasnt willing to deal with kitty mutiny, so I googled pet food stores in Lone Tree and found Petz Love. What a find! The minute I walked in the store the woman who assisted me noticed I am disabled and was right on the sales floor with me offering her help. She pointed out all the brands I was seeking and helped me get them to the sales desk. Thats a first! Most folks leave people like me to our own devices. She and I also had fun conversation about our 20 pound cats and how we could help them lose a couple of pounds. She gave me ideas about nutrition I hadnt thought about. Nutrition is really important to me - my cats eat raw and canned, but her suggestions have me improving even the terrific diet I already feed. I am duly impressed with Pet Love. They offer an incredible selection of high quality pet foods, an easily accessed location, very, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and customer service you wish you could find everywhere. While I live too far away to make Petz Love my home store, when I find myself down in South Metro, Im sure Ill stop in to help support this fine small business. Well done!

Not only is this place so welcoming and has everything you need, including all the best high quality brands! But the prices are better than the big pet stores and even amazon! Not sure if he was the owner but the gentleman who helped me find the perfect all natural treat for my dog to keep him busy knows his products! My dog absolutely loves the natural hide treat and it has kept him busy for hours and hours and hours on end! No more bored puppy equals happy owner. Highly recommend this place!

I Love their healthy selections/ variety of pet food/treats! My pup is finally eating and enjoying his meal. The customer service is professional/compassionate/helpful. They wont try to sell you the most expensive item, they are knowledgeable of their products and help you find only what is best for your pets needs :) I HIGHLY recommend this place. I appreciate the mom&Pops feel to it.

This is the absolute best pet store. Not only is the owner (Aidan) highly knowledgeable but he is just one of the nicest people you could meet. Special orders? No problem. There is also a great selection of raw food and bones. We have pet stores local to our home but drive to this store because of how wonderful it is.
