I fell in love with this coffee shop today! I just wanted a warm cup of coffee on this chilly day and wanted to support a local business. I drove down main street and found this jem. It must have been my lucky day to have been greeted by one of the happiest woman I have met at the counter and ordered one of my favorite drinks-bullet proof coffee. Have a small chat with her I could feel the passion she and her husband had for making the BEST coffee and creating such a lovely environment. Thank you for putting a smile on my face :) I will be back soon!

Great place, especially the baked goodies, but lets clarify the customer service comments. The speed at which you get your ordered items is slow, only because there are maybe two people working there, max. Its Idaho Springs, CO, not LA, NYC, ORD, or DC. Even with slow service, the staff takes the time to talk and even get to know you. They arent robots, they are extremely friendly. In my honest opinion, the customer service I outstanding.

I moved here last spring from small-town Iowa and I went to The Frothy Cup for a cool beverage while touring the town and I discovered, HANDS DOWN, the best iced tea Ive ever had in my life. I cant remember its name but it contains the orange peel/clove/cinnamon essential oils. It naturally sweetens itself ever so slightly. I come by every now and again to get a jar of it as loose leaf whenever I run low. Fully recommend!

If youre around for a hike or any reason, really, you must visit this cute little shop. Their coffee might be a little expensive but its really good and their signature tea is simply fantastic. The owners are extremely sweet and friendly and the store is endearing from the moment you step in. The coffee is roasted in store at the back and tastes perfect with their great whipped cream. Absolutely would love to visit again!

My wife and I loved the feel of this place!!! It was very quaint and welcoming. From the public piano inside, the designated mugs for the regulars, the words of wisdom left on the wall by customers, the puzzles and games on the tables, and the music. We loved it!!! The caramel macchiato we had was perfect and the service was great!

Coming from Denver we are used to local coffee shops and always support local coffee. This place doesnt disappoint. The owner is really nice and the coffee is delicious. They offer a large variety of choices without the premium price. I will go out of my way to come here every time I come to the mountains.

I have been visiting the Frothy Cup at least weekly since they opened. Awesome coffee. However, I recently had breakfast for the first time last week. I had a breakfast burrito. The Frothy Cup makes a kick ass burrito. I had it with green chili this week and it only made it better. Thank you Frothy Cup!

I immediately loved the feel of the cafe. The woman at the counter was the sweetest lady ever. She explained everything when I asked about their signature cinnamon orange tea. The tea was amazing and I highly recommend it. Will definitely return.

Im here in Colorado for vacation & I wish I could come here every day! The cutest coffee shop Ive ever been in, the drinks are wonderful & the staff was so friendly. It made me feel at home! I would highly recommend The Frothy Cup.

This coffee shop is super clean, they offer dairy free drinks, and the gentleman behind the counter (who I think is the owner) was supper friendly and welcoming. They make their own homemade whipped cream that is just delicious!

I wish I lived closer. Blueberry muffins are the best muffins Ive ever had. Service is great and workers are friendly. Love the wall of thoughts. On our way back we dropped by again for coffee, smoothies, and muffins.

Delicious drinks - had a great cafe au lait and a chai. Service wasnt the quickest, but I happened to arrive during a rush. But I felt free to take my time drinking my coffee, and enjoying the stack of games.
