I absolutely love this place! As the crotchety young man (hes 30) Rusty said, it is extremely convenient as it is next to Starbucks, kneaders, 7-11, Pho, pizza and my apartment. They have a great selection of local craft beers in their 30 plus doors of cooler space. The seasoned gentlemen running things behind the counter always has a treat for my dog and offers water for him. I cant speak to them not greeting people or offering help because usually I say hi to them as soon as I walk in while they greet my dog and I by name. Oh, and they do this while I spend about $4 a visit twice a week (hardly a cash cow) Im sure that wearing the same hat every visit will work the same as a state issued ID at some places, I personally appreciate Zen liquors understanding of their responsibility of making sure they are not selling to minors...or just some kid who wears the same hat every visit. Keep up the good work you crotchety old man.

No reason to go here other than convenience. If youre a craft beer lover dont waste your time going here. The selection hardly changes, and they only offer one fridge of choices. Ive been here about twice a week for the past month and they still act skeptical when they see my ID (Im 30). It is weird, I wear the same hat every time to help avoid confusion, but the crotchety old men behind the desk could hardly be bothered to pay attention, offer help or even a greeting. I will be driving an extra mile down the road from now on to avoid this place of misery. I recommend doing the same.
