Stay away from Word Shop and owner Julie!!! Please read this review before going to word shop for wedding invitations. I met with the owner Julie a couple times to organize the wording a layout of our invitations. We met with her a few months before we needed them to get it out of the way. She was very nice and helpful but what happened next completely ruined our experience. We waited to pay for our invitations until after our tasting so we could include food options. Julie emailed us making sure we still wanted to order the invites two weeks prior and we told her yes and we will know final details soon. When we called to pay they had trashed all our information of what we wanted which took us a couple hours of meeting and travel from Castle Rock. When we expressed frustration about discarding everything she told us that we are no longer a good fit!!! When confronted with her personal mistake she shyed away from being confronted and bailed on us two months before our wedding. Leaving us to start completely over again with no time. She is unprofessional and doesnt care to fix her mistakes. This could happen to anyone and I would stay away.

I used Wordshop Denver for my wedding invitations and reception paper goods and could not have been more happy with the experience and final product. Jill and Emily were both wonderful to work with and very professional. They did a great job and listening to my ideas and pointing me in the right direction without being pushy or ignoring my price point. They were especially helpful in coming up with creative ideas for the reception paper goods, which I received many compliments on. I was also very impressed with how graciously they handled some very last minutes changes- they never made me feel bad or expressed their frustration. Instead, they were always clear to communicate what the changes would entail and went above and beyond (ex. contacting the business after working hours) to try to make sure that it happened. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Wordshop and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

Im not sure what shop the reviewer above was meaning to review, but Julie doesnt own this shop. However, Wordshop is an absolutely incredible little shop in the highlands for all your card and gift giving needs. I always stop in here before a party or event, especially if its last minute, because they always have something fitting and a perfect card to accompany it. Theyre also really great at custom invitations, lots of innovative ideas at fair price points. Ive been shopping here for years and recommend it to all my friends if theyre in the area. Definitely worth a drop by!

Best stationary I have seen in forever! The shop is fun and cute and the gals Emily and Jill are the sweetest! They are extremely knowledgable and were a huge help in sorting out my wants and giving me fantastic wedding invite ideas. I continue to go back even after my invitations were ordered (they are perfect by the way) and get unique cards and gifts there. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants invations that are ten times better than anything you can order online!

Small shop that is packed full of paper goodies! Amazing and unique cards, which I liked since I despise buying a "grocery store" cards. Items for any occasion and they also have blank cards in a variety of sizes and colors for your own crafting. The owner was super helpful since I had a unique paper request and they have an good collection of Letterpress company portfolios for unique invitations. Oh and great fair prices on the items I purchased!

Jill Karber helped my husband and I create some very unique and personal wedding invitiations for our wedding this last January. She is amazing at her job and a fun person to get creative with. I will definitely use her again for any custom invites we need in the future. Also, the shop itself is filled with amazing cards and gifts. I could spend hours looking through all the fun stuff in the shop.
