Brought my wifes 35 year old baseball glove in for repair. A couple days later they called, and when I came in to pick it up they couldnt find it. After an hour with no luck I left. They called later to tell me they mistakenly gave it the wrong customer, who mailed it California. Customer said hed mail it back. Two weeks later they called and it was back. Honest mistake, no harm no foul. Heres the problem: They didnt offer to mail it or deliver it to me, they didnt act particularly worried when they lost it, and when I drove all the way back to pick it up.....the second time....they STILL charged me the $20 to fix it! I even gave them an opportunity to do the right thing by nicely saying "youre still charging me?" Im sure if I made a scene they would have given it to me, but Im not that guy. And I shouldnt have to. And its not the $20. I dont care about the $20. Its the principal. You LOST my wifes baseball glove, made me stand around a hour the first time, wait weeks, then drive back in again.....and you still charged me the lousy $20 without ever really getting an apology. I wouldnt trust these guys with anything you value, its pretty clear if they break or lose it, youre not going be happy with the results. Deplorable, and a very poor decision.

I am looking for a used set of womens golf clubs. The attitude in Denver, unfortunately, is not very friendly or welcoming for new golfers, especially if you are a woman. The person I spoke to at this store is this attitude magnified. When learning a new sport, I have a lot to learn and when I asked if he had any golf sets he went off in a tirade about what specifically did I need. Well that is just it, I am not sure what I need. I would have gone in to see what he had, but he was so rude on the phone, I think I will skip that obvious frustration and look elsewhere.

Late last winter I had an immediate need for functional ski boots. On a whim I checked out Sports Plus. They had a huge inventory of good used boots and I found a super comfortable pair for $45. The clerk (whose name I sadly forget) gave fitting advice and friendly skiing chat. The boots lasted me all summer skiing on Mt Hood and I dont see why they wont last further. I came back later for two backpacks which were also decently priced, clean and have worked well. Im going back now to look for a backup pair of boots for the winter. Thanks Sports Plus!

Well, I didnt get past my inquiry phone call on their stock. I asked what bike sizes they have available, and because I didnt know my size exactly (I provided my height), the person on the phone was incredibly abrasive to the fact that I did not know the exact size I needed, and kind of steam-rolled the conversation to say I should just come look. Obviously Im calling ahead before coming down there to see if you have anything suitable first. Thanks for nothing. I work in customer service, and this was a terrible experience.

Have done business with them for years. Bought, sold, searched. They have always been fair and honest. Whenever they dont have exactly what you want they are quick to give other stores where you might find what you are looking for, instead of trying to talk you into what they have. A true community business and the first place I go, even when the price might be a bit cheaper somewhere else. They could not be better.

Wow... All I will say is they have lost my business. First time in there as a new customer. I get my skates sharpened and asked them if they could cut my sticks down. Sticks get cut crappy and they charge me 2 dollars per stick for a job that took probably 3 min to do. I even buy other stuff. Guess the owner doesnt know how to win customers... Ill be driving the extra distance to go to the players bench.

I went here looking to buy some used skiing gear towards the end of the season and they had a huge selection and helped me get what I needed very quickly. I would definitely recommend going here if you need to buy or sell some used sports gear of any kind.

Their hockey selection is huge and you can get everything you need for the low. If you want to play hockey and your on a low budget I cant recommend this place enough. Its awesome please go check it out

Ive come in 3 times now with minor repair issues, all on no notice, and theyve fixed it on the spot. Really is great for those that get around by bike. Also, being open on Sunday is superb.
