I have been dropping into this gun shop from time to time for over half a year now. Initially I was looking for a new pistol for concealed. Financially the time was never seemed right to buy another firearm. Tammy and Justin never pressured me to buy anything and were always happy to answer my questions even if I never spent a dime. This experience was vastly different than the other gun shops. I am not someone who is tacticool (tactical), I am practical. Despite being a hunter since the age 7, working security and corrections, and being experience and well practiced with my handgun, I usually felt looked down on for not being military or already familiar with "Military Style" gear and its jargon. So when I was looking at the AR weapons platform I had a pre-built hesitation and embarrassment to ask questions or even inquire about them, though the feature of being able to swap uppers between personal defense and hunting calibers was attractive. It wasnt until I talked to Justin and Tammy one day about an ATI in .223/.556 they had in stock for a very nice price that I asked about it. I actually purchased it over the compact single stack m&p shield I was looking at. What happened after purchasing the rifle was even more important. As the first two times I went out to the range I had issues getting on paper at even close range. Part of it was the sights that I had bought separate were jacked up, and had to be returned. The next thing I noticed was the stock was collapsing from the rifle recoil, and the rails were slightly misaligned. I took the rifle back nearly a month later, due to a hectic work schedule, and waiting for my new sights to come in the mail. To my surprise Justin was able to look at the rifle, adjust the rail alignment, and fix the stock pin depth so it wouldnt pop out and slide. Both issues were beyond my level of familiarity with the rifle, and I was glad he was willing to fix it for me. What was even better even when I offered to pay for the adjustments he didnt charge me for it. Later that day with my new sights I was hitting red consistently within the first 25 rounds of trying to zero in my sights. It turned what would have been frustrating situation for me with another store, into an enjoyable day off at the range. I couldnt recommend anyone else over these guys after the experience I have had with Tammy and Justin vs. other firearm vendors. Thank you guys for selling me a very nice, and well priced rifle, and providing such great customer support even after you had my money. You dont see that many places these days.

My husband ordered some guns and had Springs Armory as the receiving store. Prior to the guns arriving, my husband deployed after receiving some short notice orders. The guns arrived and Springs Armory contacted me to inform me our goods were there. Here is where life got difficult. Since my husband is military and I am not from Colorado, I had no proof of residency. I literally jumped through so many hoops to prove I lived here and was a resident. It was a headache but after several more hoops, I was able to show I was a resident. I went to pick up my goods and waited only to be told I had been denied the right to purchase a fire in the state of Colorado. I was informed about the appeal process and promptly sent everything over. After 30 days of waiting to hear back about my appeal, I was informed my appeal had been approved ( whatever they were denying me for wasnt even on my background! Thats a whole other story). I happily picked up everything today. I can not speak for the other staff members other than Tammy, who is the only one I worked with, was great. Actually great is an understatement. Through all my frustrations (and trust me when I say out of frustration I was probably not easy to deal with), she was patient and kind and understanding and helped where ever she could. My actual experience with Springs Armory was great though the process of purchasing a firearm in the state of Colorado is a bit of a headache. Id encourage any and all in the market of a gun in the area to only do business with them. If I ever have the need for another firearm, this will be the only place my husband and I use. Tammy, thank you!

I went in to look at some AR-15s a couple weeks back. The staff told me about Civilian Force Arms (CFA), a veteran-owned company that offers a lifetime warranty on their rifles. They said if anything ever happens to fail on the rifle (not due to neglect),they would fix it on the spot. Im thinking "sure, thats not going to happen", but its only time and money so what the heck! A week later, my fire control group starts letting off rounds as Im letting the trigger out from taking a well placed shot. Its an intermittent issue, so I figured Id take it in and see if they could look at it. Im already mentally prepared to have the "we cant fix this" or "its going to cost you xyz" conversation, because its what Ive grown used to with this type of warranty stuff. I just got home, and I couldnt be more happy with the service. Springs Armory fixed my rifle on the spot! Just as they promised. Ill be recommending all my friends to check them out, and Ill stop there first from now on whenever I need anything. Edit: formatting

Great experience. Ive been to gun shops with only one or two employees working and who have a bad attitude or make you feel like youre wasting their time by asking questions despite no other customers being in the store. This was nothing like that. There were at least a half dozen employees, all engaged with customers or greeting you and offering assistance. They were friendly and knowledgeable and did not pressure me into any sales. At no point did I feel like they were being pushy, which I hate. The owners are also Marine vets and at least some, if not all, of the employees were younger military vets. Also, as an added bonus due to their location on the east side of Powers they fall under County and not City, so the tax rate was cheaper! I ended up buying a very nice rifle and accessories/ammo. Will definitely go back for all my 2nd amendment needs. Highly recommend!

Visited the story and purchased a Beretta in mid March. Excellent customer service. Almost immediately after walking in, one of the employees dropped everything he was doing to help me. Looking at the other reviews, I assume it was Justin who helped me. Not only was he willing to talk with me about the differences between two guns I was looking at, but jumped right into changing out the magazine release on one to accommodate a left-handed shooter and give me a real feel for what I was looking for. I liked the gun and price, and proceeded to check out. Tammy helped me with every step of the process, and kept me updated on the progress of the background check. Very professional and polite. Overall, very satisfied with the experience, and I will be happy to shop at Springs Armory again for my next purchase. Shop local!

Awesome gun shop with a family feel. Great prices and extremely friendly staff. The shop is a little small and has a decent selection of weapons in-store, BUT, Their online selection is fantastic and you just order it and pick it up at the store in a few days! And believe me, you will be happy with the money you saved. Also, background check fee is waived for military. And customer service is great, the manufacturer/supplier messed up and mislabeled an option on something i bought, and they immediately refunded me, called the supplier, did the legwork to find out why the mix up happened and ordered the correct version for me. I couldnt be more pleased with their customer service, value, or their (online) selection. I would definitely recommend them over any other gun shop in the springs!
