The food was great, you can really tell the cooks take the time to make sure you food is the way its supposed to be, the coffee is also good. However, not much can be said for the service. We came in and waited at the cashier for at least 5-10 minutes, which I could understand as it was busy. The food beat our drinks out by quite a while, we were well into our meal before someone barked our number and drink order. Overall, the food was the highlight of our visit. The cooks there move like theyve been drinking the coffee they sell and had our meals ready in more than reasonable time. However, I only saw two of them through their window and they still had our food out before the 5 employees at the coffee bar, put a damper on our breakfast.

My family and I enjoyed R&Rs brunch today. My wife had the salmon mousse crepes, my son enjoyed the green chili burritos. Now look, were all adults here, so, Im going to say something adult, orgasmic. There its said. My blue cheese burger with added bacon and avocado was, well, orgas...., really good. My wife said that her salmon mousse was, "really nice" too, but she says that about her orgas....s too. (Im sure Im doing things right). My 16 year old son enjoyed his burrito too, without to much detail. Just a glazed look in his eyes. I want to thank the staff at R&Rs for making our experience this enjoyable. It is rare this day and age to get service and food this exceptional. Thank you!

Ive been here 3 times in about 3 years, always on a weekend morning. Each time they were out of pancakes, and my daughter always wants pancakes. This past weekend, they were out of bacon--at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning. My cafe au lait was a little weak, but ok. The vegetables on my husbands omelet were undercooked, but he ate it because he was starving. I ordered the cheddar biscuit with gravy--be warned this is not a biscuit. Its a bun, or a dinner roll or something. The gravy was slightly sweet. I had one bite of each, but couldnt eat the rest. I like the atmosphere and the coffee can be good, but all in all, I think were done with driving 30 minutes for food thats always a little... lacking.

One of the best kept secrets East of highway 21. For my first year in Colorado Springs I drove past this gem w/out looking twice. If you did not know it was here, youd often pass it. One early morning on my way to work I decided to drop in for some coffee and my eyes were opened to an amazing coffee and menu. From the hand crafted coffee, homemade pastries and breads made fresh everyday, to their relaxing atmosphere....this has become the go to breakfasy/coffee stop for my wife and I. The employees are always curtious and helpful...the coffee is always fresh and the perfect temperature...when my tour here in thr springs is up, wr are going to really miss this cafe!

I brought 2 friends and myself, for the first time. To the R&R coffee cafe today. I had the FRENCH ONION SOUP. The very best french onion soup I have ever tasted. I also had the GREEN CHILI BURGER, which was prepared perfectly to my request and not a sloppy chili mess. It was easy to handle with a slightly thicker based chili. Both my friends had the same experience and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. This place is a diamond in the woods !!!!!!! And a very fun and talented staff, Chef is top notch. You are missing something great if you dont make it a priority to dine there. They are a coffee and dining experience you wont want to miss.

Wish this place lived up to its reviews but it certainly didnt. Ordered french toast and found it to be dry. Want sone syrup with that? "Oh sorry, we ran out of syrup early this morning." Same person who I ordered from! That info would have been nice when I ordered dude. Cafe au lait was weak. Cappuccino was very very strong. Biscuits and gravy portion was very small and really not very good at all and a bit cold. Kids scrambled eggs had zero flavor. Never got the waters we asked for. Atmosphere was really nice at least. Will not be back. Sorry but theres many better places out there!

R & R Coffee Cafe knows their beans, but they also offer so much more than just coffee. The breakfast and lunch menus are full of flavor, bursting with the right spices and flavors to keep you coming back for more. Sure, there might be another restaurant or two up the road further, but if youre used to getting your fix here at R & R, make it a point to also get breakfast or lunch, stay a while or take it to go. You dont know what youre missing until youve had the whole deal here!

We went here for Mothers Day and it was not that crowded. After standing in line and ordering our food we sat down. Then an hour later our food FINALLY came out. And greatly enough they messed up our order. The manager made excuses to why the orders were wrong, and proceeded to correct the problem. 20 minutes later the right order came out and we still received little to no apology. I do not advise this restaurant if you want friendly efficient service and good food.

One of the best places to get a cup of coffee and something delicious to eat. However they are only open 50 percent of the time. Every time my girlfriend and I go to visit my folks in black forest it says on Google that it is open but to our suprise they are closed. I have no idea why they are still in business due to their inconsistent hours

I love this place. The coffee drinks are wonderful. The bakery does some amazing things (not always easy at 7500 elevation). Service has always been super friendly and the place is always well presented. It is worth the 5 mile dive up Black Forest road for sure. Free wifi and a nice reading area. Hit it up for sure if you are in the area!

Lots of coffee and tea options, and the food is good as well. They can get pretty busy, which may or may not cause your order to be wrong or incomplete. The staff is extremely nice and will fix any mix-ups, but can be a little frustrating when with a group and you have to wait for food while everyone else is finishing up theirs.

Great hometown feel. Great atmosphere. They roast their coffee on site and brew it in the manner best suited for that particular coffee. Coffee is fantastic. I had the biscuits and gravy and will have to get the same on the next visit. Highly recommended because of great food and friendly staff.

OVER PRICED! Really, over $8 for 2 slices of bacon and a cinnamon roll sliced in half and cooked like French toast. And dont get me started on the $2.85 for a cup of coffee (refill not included). We wont waste our hard earned money here again. No value here! On the plus side the coffee is good.

My wife and I REALLY enjoy making the short drive out Woodman and then up Black Forest Rd for a "Special Treat" (and the drive is always shorter than one would expect). There is a full-service Post Office right next door and theres NEVER a line. Ryan and crew are very relaxed and levity abounds.
