Focus on the customer and youll get 5 stars. Fantastic coffee, great pastry and breakfast burritos, very pleasant environment, but owner has a focus issue. While we were there, the wonderful young lady behind the counter did an excellent job of customer service. The gentleman, who I assume is the owner, was focused on a new light signal going up outside and how many bags of coffee he just shipped to California. He failed to ask if we wanted a pastry warmed up or if we wanted salsa with our burrito. His focus was absolutely in the wrong place. I was asked to wait for him to take a picture of the signal light being worked on before he answered a question for me. You can have the best food in the world and an amazing shop, but if you fail to focus on the customer, you fail. Customer service is very simple. Keep your head on the customer.

If the coffee itself is important to you, this is a good place for that. The coffee beans are roasted on site. World class roaster and well-sourced beans! The location has floor to ceiling windows with a fantastic view of Pikes Peak and the front range. If you are one of the 1% who follow Barista competitions and like to choose from a variety of single origen beans for your espresso, Mission Coffee has (or "had" when I visited) only one espresso blend option. It was very good, but a blend. They do have many great regional bean options if you want drip coffee or a French press.

The service is very friendly here, and the facilities are nice. However, I was not thrilled with the roasting technique of the coffee. I also had a expensive, but simple sandwich which I did not find to taste very good or be very fresh. Also, I did not find any information about whether the coffee was organic or fair trade. This is of utmost importance to me, and until I am sure the the coffee is being responsibly and ethically produced, I wont be returning.

Coffee with a Mission! From their website: "Birthed as an idea in 1991, Mission Coffee Roasters was later founded by the Bixler Family in 2003 to financially support Christian missionaries, missionaries-in-training, Christ based ministries, and other non-profits (both secular and faith based) through the sale of delicious fresh roasted coffee. " So while accordingly, you cant get their coffee on Sunday, every other day of the week you get good coffee.

Really, really good coffee. I had an cappuccino and bought a bag of very freshly roasted Honduran coffee that far exceeded my expectation. The owner family really knows coffee and I appreciate the support of missions. It was obvious that the company knows their suppliers well which is very important for sustainable fair trade. On top of all the other benefits, the price was also good. Great coffee. Great cause.

This little coffee shop is a wonderful gem on the north side! They offer a wide variety of drinks, and alternative milks such as coconut and almond. They even have a limited variety of good quality, gluten free snacks! I have come here for business meetings over coffee and personal visits, and every time have been happy with my selections. This is a great local business with great values - proud to support them!

I was warmly greeted as soon as I entered the door. When I mentioned I was from out of town and just needed a minuet to look they helped another customer and then came right back to me. They told me about the additional specials that werent listed on the menu and even recommend their favorite drink and pastry. I have made sure to save the location for the next time Im in the area!!

Amazing staff, great service, outstanding coffee, the tea selection is even better. The coffee is roasted in the shop, so you know you are getting the freshest coffee in town. The owner puts his heart into making his place the most hospitable in town. I go there almost every day!!! Stop by and check it out.

This is one of my favorite coffee houses. I love feeling like they know me but also love that they let me sit and work while I sip on my huge latte. Thank you Mission for having amazing standards and employing people who share and champion those standards. You are a gem in the world of coffee! Thank you

This place had decent coffee. Nothing to rave about. The muffin I bought was a day old so nice a crusty if youre into that sort of thing. Then, the person taking my order asked if I would I like cream in my coffee. I said "sure". When I got to work, there was no cream in my coffee.

Wonderful little modern coffee shop with a mission focus (surprise!). The staff were knowledgeable and greeted us warmly. Great place to sit for an afternoon. The only downside is that it is not with in easy walking distance of anything especially interesting.

People who work there are great and know so much about coffee. They roast onsite and supply many local establishments. Snacks are available (breakfast burritos, patties, homemade scones, etc.). Theres seating inside and outside, plus meeting rooms upstairs.

My favorite place ever. :D The staff are incredibly personable, and most of them have made an effort to learn my name, which is awesome and feels very welcoming to me. And the coffee is delightful. Best breve in town. :)

Amazing service, and the coffee was good. I suggest the Caramel Vanilla Latte, amazing for fall. Really cool atmosphere, and more than enough outlets for my laptop. Highly recommended!
