Kendall is correct. If you are looking for service or some questions answered you are in for the biggest ride to hell ever. (And if you play mk - straight to the depths of the freaking Netherealm) I came several times to buy games. There was no one in the games section so we went to the tech department front desk. We asked if there was someone who could help and the lady said they would call someone to help us. We waited for nearly 45 min and decided to leave. There was absolutely no one even around us. Half the store was completely empty of employees while the tech department was the busiest. Recently I went there to get the preorder for Black Ops 3. They were supposed to email me the code. For at least a month and a half I havent been emailed anything. Not only that I went back shortly after this and decided I was just gonna cancel the order and get the "Juggernog Edition" instead. Well not only was there no one there (now a normal for me) I had to look for someone to help me (as usual) but of course there was no one there. So Im gonna need to go somewhere else for this I guess. And by the way their kiosk sucks more than a vacuum. The keyboard doesnt work at all. DONT GO HERE

Amazing Customer Service skills. I believe Zach, is his name, helped me find exactly what I needed. Late at night about an hour before closing I stroll in meandering about the aisles aimlessly shopping, when I remember Id been looking for around the ear headphones. The standard busy closing employees are milling about, so I decide to rather abruptly call out one particularly busy looking, indeed rather hurried in appearance, dude. He does a swift about face and hurries over to help me. I had no idea what I wanted. I was literally that moron customer that doesnt know how to even ask for help. The guy goes over and above going through the ins and outs of my purchase in a jovial kind hearted manner, even empathizing with me on budget constraints. He EVEN went so far as to introduce himself and give me a joyful handshake after I had found my selection! Though I will be bringing the headphones back, too small for my giant ears, I look forward to shopping at my local Best Buy once again. Zach was the epitome of salesmanship! The model retail representative!!! Massive win! Top 10 lifetime shopping experiences, and Ive been on the planet for 28 years.

My daughter bought an ASUS T100 tablet at Best Buy, and the screen broke in less than two months of light use. She did not abuse it, it was not dropped or crushed. We took it back to Best Buy and they shipped it off and said we broke it, because that is the only possible answer in their mind, despite the fact that I have found a number of internet posts from people who have had this same experience. Thankfully, by daughter bought the additional protection, so she is only out $70 rather than $370. After this experience, we are done with Besy Buy, done with Geek Squad and COMPLETELY DONE with ASUS. Please check the reviews before you buy, this is what I have learned!! By the way, dealing with the Geek Squad was maddening -- they would not listen to logic, all they did was repeat the same mantra, it was our fault and they are taking my daughters money. The good news is that you can buy insurance at Staples that is less expensive and they will insure products purchased elsewhere. Best Buy wont return our money, so the replacement will be the last thing we get from them, and we will insure it as Staples.

I have had 2 issues with this store. First is I bought my wife a laptop from them and had it optimized. They told me that if we had any problems it would be on file. So a month later the mouse pad stops working. We bring it in and they say that they do not have any information on their computer and since we paid cash they have no records of the purchase. So they will not look at it. Second. My laptop that I provide for work was damaged on a resent trip. I gave it to Geek Squad for an estimate for repair so I can get reimbursed. They called me and told me it needed a new screen. I asked for a written estimate. They could not give me one. They told me when they ship it back to the store they can give me one then. No such luck. They never provided me any documentation showing how much it would cost for repair. It even says at the bottom of their paper work that they have to provide a written estimate. Never Again.

I bought a gaming headset and I paid for some plan that allowed me to just pay the difference to a better pair when i had the money. Nope, they couldnt find it on record so the 40 dollars I spent is gone. Then, I buy a pair with a plan that cost 375.00 dollars. The headset is nice but I try returning it because I recently lost my job and I was told basically, "oh well we cant give you money but we can give you another pair." So the plan I bought was a complete waste and I was told I Could return them (albeit the guy I talked to had no clue what he was doing). So yeah, Im out 160 for the first pair, and 375 for the second. Best buy is such a ripoff if you buy something and try to return it, and their incompetence is astounding. They permanently lost my business and I planned on preordering the next gen gaming consoles along with games. Amazon, here I come.

waste of time I went in to order something a tv series I went in the back of the store to do it and I get there and I see tree sales people talking to echouther being lazy I hate this store cause you can never get any help you have to go find it your self the Pont is I went back there to order something and I was told to do it at the front customer service so I did and I see one lady helping some old bag old man and she is taking for ever 25 mints later she finishs which him then she says how can I help she gets what I want on her computer then it freezes and now she call there headquarters and I have to order it from there instead of the store when my TV season came it was not in a brand new seal it was the the case and movie it had no wrapping on it wost ever I will come if I only have to

I have wanted to make a computer purchase over the past month and noticed a big difference in computer departments now... I am rarely approached and asked if I need help and end up leaving with no purchase. A couple days ago I WAS approached at BestBuy, talked about my needs in a computer and suggestions were made. The sales associate looked for a specific computer I was interested in and found a better (and more expensive) item that had been returned (opened)... and for just a little more could get a system that cost a little more, would exceed by far my first choice. Pleased with my experience and would make make BestBuy my first choice in the future. I bought a HP ENVY 360.
