I purchased a product (The ChilliPad Full) in the store at Hillcrest 1201 University Avenue San Diego, CA 92103 several weeks ago. I was informed that the item was not in stock and would ship out in a few weeks. I went into the store after 2 weeks to check on the progress and was told that it would be in on the 22nd of September (2more weeks). I went in on the 22nd, hearing nothing again from the store, and I was aggressively told that I was misinformed, and that what they meant was that it would be in their distribution center on the 22nd not in the store. It has been a week more now, and I went into the store to see what date the item would arrive. The employee that assisted me, got on the computer, and said that the item had no tracking number and no shipping/fulfillment information. I asked for a refund. The employee said fine, and asked me for the card that I used. I said, you should be able to see that I paid cash. I was then flippantly told that I would have to wait for a refund check, from corporate, and that it would take 3 to 4 weeks. The sad thing is, I was a huge fan of this store, owning thousands of dollars of stuff (Bed, etc.) from it, even "proudly" holding a "Healthy Back Select" card, and now this. I would like a refund for the product I purchased now. If that requires a "corporate check", then write it now, and send it now. No, I dont want the product even if it arrives. No I dont want to be contacted from this store. I will buy the item somewhere else. Its now been two weeks since I requested to be contacted by "Corporate" i.e. The district manager, and nothing...No one word. I have spoken to "Lee" from the Healthy Back 1-800 number 4 times these past 2 weeks, and he claims he isnt able to do anything re stores...only on line assistance...This is Total BS

Unhelpful staff was more interested in chatting between themselves than in selling me a chair for work. The lady "helping" me, while friendly enough, did not seem to know anything about their products and when I asked how to adjust the floor model she said "Oh, that one is broken"...end of conversation. Her coworkers seemed very perturbed when she interrupted their conversation to ask them a question for me. This kind of service is why I take my business elsewhere.

I was looking for a new pillow and since it was right by my house I came here first. Did you know you can rent out a pillow? They are new, you simply put a deposit down (refundable) and you get to take the pillow home for up to two weeks. When you return it you get your money back. If you dont they charge you the remaining amount as if you bought it.

Drove over an out to get a back pillow and they were closed for renovation. Someone came to the door and I asked if I could simply purchase a specific pillow for my friend who is stuck in bed and they said no. The guy didnt seem to care. Wont be back.

Ive purchased several products from this store over the past two years, The sales staff have always taken the time to explain the various options, as well let you try each out. When I need a back product I go to this store first every time.
