First of all, the girl who helped me was very helpful and nice. Whoever is managing the print department isnt doing a very good job at it. The day I came in, I placed an order for two posters to be printed and laminated. They seemed to be very helpful by offering a drive to transfer the documents from my computer to theirs. I should have known to not trust the place, when the same girl who helped me was trying to find a project for another client while I transferred the files. I was to pick up my order the next day, I waited three. I get there and Im notified my project wasnt completed due to an image problem. Why was I not called or emailed? I was okay with having to return, but was frustrated when they asked me to send repeated emails with the documents in the requested formats. They couldnt find my emails. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. They were kind enough to do that. I tend to trust Office Depot with my projects and in an effort to support other locales, I came to realize that nothing like my local one. Never again. Im sticking with my nice in Chula Vista.

First I tried to buy a laptop there, after listening to advice from the salesperson I decided on one and it ended up being out of stock. The next three choices were also out of stock. So I decide to print some pictures and see the cost of a 8x10 is twice what Costco charges and bigger prints exponentially more. Last I go to return some headphones my nephew bought there and Jason says we havent carried these in six months and he will give me a penny for them, thats what the register will ring up. So I tell the Jason I dont want a penny I want ones that work. He says all he can do is give me a penny. I told him they were bought here and I just want a pair that work. Now he says they werent bought there. Now Im pissed. He shouldnt of said that. I obviously dont have headphones that work and Jason finishes the conversation with the old Have a Good Day. I laugh because I will and hell be standing at Office Depot waiting to piss the next guy off. The place is only good for free parking and printing off boarding passes for 11 cents.

Customer service was not on point. The lady was nice, but you can tell her manager made her mad. I went in for an online pick up order. That they seemed like this was the first one the ever delt with. She told him the order was for joe and it was markers. He came out with a bag and said it was for mark. She said no "its an order for joe". He sweared that she said mark. As if it was a big deal for the miscommunication. Then he looks at me and says well do you have an invoice. I said no. Ive never needed one before. After that he paid no attention to me after that and went into the back room to look for my order. He found it and then instead of carring it, he kicked it with his foot over to the register where she was. Made a remark to her and got on his walkie talkie and told someone she was messing up. I felt bad for her. She did nothing wrong. I asked if he was the manager and she said yes. Thats no way to treat an employee or a customer. He was a bald man with a large goatee. Poor management.

Warning, this place trick you into their parking lot and they will tow your car like the others. I should have read the review before even parking here, my other friend says there was a GUY WITH SUNGLASSES standing there and PURPOSELY call the towing company to get rid of your car without even telling you before you leave the place. The reason i said they were tricking us because there is no tow-away sign on the parking space, which is very misleading, and then they watch us leaving and not telling us that this place is no parking, in the other words, they are tricking us. Beware that there are only 2 signs on both front and back entrance of the parking lot saying tow-away. Other than that, nothing. At least 3 cars were towed away when we get there, we even talked to someone who got towed too. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.

I used to go the STAPLES because they had everything until an incompetant employee wasted my time and refused to acknowledge what they were doing was wrong - I was lucky she spoke English! I live in the Marina and started going to Office Depot for convenience - Toni and John? (The white guy with goatee) are AWESOME - the GM and the printing/copy manager need much more training. Needles to say I will take my $5,000 a year in business to Fed Ex in Hillcrest - you can email your order and they call you when its ready. Yes its further away but worth it if you go after hours for easy parking. Office Depot DOES have great parking but probably cause very few people go back. I wonder if the district manager will contact me to find out how his priinting manager (who lies) caused my company a lot of hassle.

The only friendly person I interacted with was Danny, thanks Danny for having good customer service. The printing department is unfriendly and make zero eye contact with you. I asked the woman a question after she asked me what I needed and never stopped to look at me or stop reading. She was very unprofessional and needs some customer service skill training. Perhaps a day at the Nordstrom store could do her done good. The behave and interact with customers as we are a nuisance and want you to leave so they dont have to bother with you. When Danny called for a manager, the manger took their time and so I just left. Go to another store, and Danny should be commended on maintaining good service despite the negative attitudes of the other staff.

I called in to placed an order that was very time sensitive and they said to come in an hour. So i go on with my day. The hour passes and i go in to pick up my project. Turns out they didnt even take a look at what i ordered. And on top of that they didnt have the materials for my project, therefore my time was wasted. I was upset that there was absolutely no communication during that hour on how my project was doing. A trip that was suppose to take 15 mins ended up being an hour+ trying to get my project printed. I gave them three stars because they helped me out during the hour on completing my project with materials they had.

Very rude employee and short with his answers. I went in looking for a battery employee treated me like an idiot by telling me he doesnt know where I would be able to find it. Even though they carry the brand and printer. I didnt expect them to have exactly what I need even though the printer was purchased at this store, but at least lead me in the right direction or ask me why I was needing the item in the first place. Been shopping here for tge past 4 years and was baffled with this employees attitude and response. Time for a new job bud, dont seem very happy to be there.
