I am a local market connoisseur in that I love small mom and pop shops that put pride in their business. This is absolutely one of those places. You know - The kinda place that if you are 10 cents shorts they will just tell you to get them back next time. They somehow remember, recognize and give the benefit of the doubt to each and every customer. My sailboat is moored on a ball right on the back side of this market in Mission Bay so I go there for a lot of my supplies and they always have it all. Thanks for providing a great service to your community. Great beer selection also with lots of cooler doors with all kinds of beverages for a warm day at the beach.

Mission Market is the place to get everything you need if you live at the beach. The owner, Joe, has everything you need from hardware to garlic. Plus he is a great guy who is always willing to talk, and will remember you everytime you come in. Just introduce yourself. There were times I didnt even have money and he would let me get it back to him. I always did of course, but it meant a lot for him to trust me. It is something missing in business today.

This place is great even though its a bit pricey...they sell so many different items, especially for Someone who lives around here and especially on busy weekends. But the only issue is there is one lady at the counter who I have never had a good experience with...she is always extremely rude to me and makes me avoid this place like the plague because I dont want to deal with such terrible customer service.

Visited mission beach and was staying at the Hyatt. I was very glad to find mission market. He had everything I needed - water, groceries, staples, wine, even disposable champagne flutes (which I was looking for and didnt expect to find). Owner was great and has been there 30+ years. Better than a CVS (minus the pharmacy) and much less expensive.

Its got some things that I wanted but they are really overpriced, they literally bought their stuff at 99¢ store and slammed a$3-$5 on it, the stuff they sell look really cheap.

This place will rip you off, buyer beware! I was rudely kicked out for saying the price wasnt right, and he couldnt show me an itemized receipt. Its all a scam!

I once needed a peanut butter sandwich for the kids and Joe grabbed pb&j off the aisle and made lunch for them. Service doesnt get better than that.

Has all the necessities, but definitely overpriced. We walked out with a small bag of groceries (like four things) for $17.

High prices, and small selections. This is more like a specialty store than a regular supermarket.
