Extremely poor service on a continuous basis. I have been a customer of theirs since they first opened in Roseville and I wanted to support new business coming to our town. Over the years, the frames have broken and have needed repairing. I am also tired of them trying to sell me on an eye exam as well... Four years ago, I purchased two pairs of glasses (I only need to wear them at night to drive, not very often). I have had to take one of the pair of glasses to be repaired 3 times. The first time, not a big deal, waited a long time, but that is typical of this store. The second time, which was just over this past summer, I took the pair in once again to be repaired (again, I hardly wear these). I stood and waited and waited and waited while I was finally called for my turn, then I wait for at least another 45min to an hour for the technician to fiddle with them and fix them. Never fixes them. I told him that I did not have time to wait and to please call me when they are fixed. A week goes by, never hear from anyone. I finally call, a woman manager tells me, "Oh, yes they are fixed, come in today!" I get there, and of course they are not fixed!!! She never even checked. Then they couldnt find the glasses! Finally they located them in the original technicians pocket! Really??? Then just a few days ago, they broke again! I go back and wait, wait, wait. I can not wait too much longer, it was my only day off. I finally ask a man if I can leave these to be fixed and call me later please. He says, "Oh these cant be fixed, these have to be soldered and we dont do that. But go across the street to Fast Fix at the Galleria and they will fix them at no cost, we have an under-written agreement with them." So, here I go to Fast Fix, the manager didnt know what the heck I was talking about and tells me they have no such agreement and that it would cost me $49.95 to fix them! I go back over to Stanton Optical (still, my only day off) and tell the man that I spoke with earlier what the Fast Fix store doesnt have such an agreement and that they would charge me $49.95! He proceeds to look up my original order and finds I ordered the pair of glasses in 2011 and that I purchased a 2-year warranty, but that it is no longer valid because it is 2015! Now mind you, I wear this particular pair only at night to drive, may once or twice a week, if that. He is arguing with me and wont have the glasses fixed! I finally get completely fed up and leave the store, leaving my glasses with him! The right thing for him to do would have been to call Fast Fix himself and get the glasses repaired for me or send them out to be repaired! Extremely poor customer service, I will never buy another pair of glasses there again. Every single time that I go into this store, someone is complaining about the service, the long wait times and the quality of the product. I am not joking, every single time there is always an issue. I ordered sun glasses about a year and a half ago, the arms on the frames are cracking, its ridiculous. I will not do business with this company ever again.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I am an easy going person and I usually roll with things. Saw the Groupon Deal and decided I would ask about them about it as my glasses could be updated. Upon walking in I wasnt greeted by anyone until I started looking for someone. Was told that the deal doesnt cover much and that I would be paying a lot out of pocket. They pushed their deal and exam. I said sure to atleast the exam because it was reasonably priced. My experience went downhill from there. I came back for my exam. Doctor was great. Then when I asked for a copy of my prescription, I got a little pushback stating I can get it soon since he was putting it into the computer still. (I actually didnt get a copy until 2 days later). I understand it takes time so I shopped a bit. Found frames I liked but they werent my size, so I settled for something bigger then I wanted. Sat down with one of the "techs" and basically was told what I would be charged. No options given. Just this is what you get. I wasnt going to argue with them, I figured it was part of the process before confirming what I needed for the actual glasses. They didnt measure where my focal point is just took the frames to the technician in the back and put them in. It was horrible. Not only could I not see properly out, it was blurred and caused my vision to split. I immediately let them know which they tried and said that where I wear them is different then where they put the focal point. (They said it as if I were to blame for them not measuring.) A gentleman in a suit came out and stated they would correct the error. I had to come back later because of work to pick it up. When I did, I still couldnt see out of them properly. I ended up coming back 2 days later to complain and return them because they werent working. Talked to the "manager" and she said that they could replace them with different frames. (I had spent 3 hours the first time and could only find the one pair that worked for me) I declined because I wasnt going to take more time to go through inventory that just didnt have anything that would fit my face properly. I asked for a refund and was declined. She quoted policy about no refunds if the glasses were made to the prescription. I stated for the blurriness and the issues with warped vision it wasnt correct for me. She said she would have to make sure it was okay to refund with another manager and would get back to me on Monday (as it was Saturday). I was okay with that. No phone call, no response. I had even given them 2 weeks to respond. I have been slammed at work (work 6 days a week with only Sundays off) so I havent been able to venture there and handle this with a different manager. Honestly, I am disappointed by the entire experience and I can honestly say if I get this resolved, I still wont give my business to this company. Just poor customer service and attitude from the sales staff.

When I went to this place- it was a Friday noon, and it was unpleasant to be approached by an UNFRIENDLY person which is the important key to winning your Customers attention!, and you could tell that he is just there because he needs his time in so that he will get paid during that time that he shows up for work! He does not have the charisma in dealing with people and the passion to help their Customers- which in return, pays for their paycheck! Then he took me in the back to sign in and asked me why am I there- so I said, I have an appointment...and that I wanted to avail what the "ad" that they have on TV... Then he gave me the "run-around" and trying to steer me in a different "agenda"- so i figured out that it is just a "gimmick" to let you in- so they have those commercials on TV. And then they only have a tiny special section that you can choose from- so it is pretty much NOT worth it and he said that I will have to wait one month for my glasses when ordered! So, during our conversation, we were just going around the bush and that I will never get anything close to what their ad on TV says...so, i told him- I was there for the BUDGET deal that they have on the TV commercial, and that i wanted the free eye exam and those 2 pairs for 78 dollars! But he just keep "steering" me to a route that i am not interested! So, I told him- Thank you and I walked away because, he is NOT going to give me what they had advertised on their TV commercial! I was already in my car, when another gentleman approached me and asked why I left and told him the reason, then he started telling me that we can work something out! But then- the terms are still NOT what their advertised deal was- but he said that he will give me the same deal for 99 dollars out the door...and I told him- why did they NOT tell me that in the first place, if they had such a deal! Bottom line- my experience with them was NOT GOOD and that i will never go back there! if it feels its too good to be true- RUN away, because you will just be wasting your time and nothing close to what they have in their ad is what you will get! I will NOT recommend them to my friends or family...
