I took a watch in for repair and another watch in for a battery replacement. Brian, a manager, was initially very helpful in getting the work done on both watches. I left with the watch that had a battery replaced but the other watch would take a couple of weeks Brian said. Well after 30 days of not hearing from Jared, I called and was told that they would look into it and call me back the next day. No one called...for three days. So I made another call and asked for Brian this time. He was out but a gal said she would look into it and have Brian call me tomorrow. I waited two day and and he never called. No one called me back. So on the third day, I called and Brian answered. I asked about my watch and explained my disappointment in the lack of communication. Brian apologized but explained it was 10 minutes prior to the store closing for the day and he would personally look into the status of my watch repair and call me the next morning. I waited another 48 hours and he never called. On the third day, two friends from work accompanied me to Jared, as one needed a new watch battery for his Tiffany watch. Brian was not working that afternoon but another jumped in as soon as he heard of my difficulty getting any feedback on my watch repair. This manager was of middle eastern decent, (I dont recall his name) very friendly and seems eager to help me. He informed me that my watch needed a couple of additional weeks for repair, as they sent the watch out to a specialist in Chicago. I was fine with that now that I had some idea as what was going on. As soon as I had my update, I suggested that this manager help my friend with his watch battery. Well rather than replace the battery, the manager began to belittle my friend for his "poor choice" in a Tiffany & Co. watch. "Youre paying for a name, not craftsmanship." This continued on for about five minutes and my friend had enough and walked away from the banter. At this point, this manager approached me and defends his comments by saying "I have a friend who works at Tiffany & Co. and he says all of the jewelry is inferior and that people are duped by the name Tiffany." My friends are very upset at this point and walk out. I go running after them and we leave. FOUR weeks later I get a call that my watch has been repaired and is ready for pick up. I go in the next day and Brian is there along with the other manager. I pay for the repair and decide to tell Brian how the other manager insulted my friend. Brian acted shocked and asked if he could confront the manager about the allegation. I said absolutely. After roughly 10 minutes both men approached me and apologized. The other manager said he didnt recall the situation and Brian said that Jared policy was to insure that every customer has a positive experience. I thought, well I should tell Brian about the multiple times I left him messages for him to call me back and he never did, as well as the time I spoke to him 10 minutes prior to closing on the phone. Surprisingly, Brian dismissed what I was saying by "I already apologized to you, have a good day." I took my watch and walked out. I will NEVER patronize Jared Jewelry again. If there is an opportunity where someone asks me for a jeweler reference, I will NOT refer Jared but rather Guzzetta & Co. or Hamilton Jewelers.

Horrible customer service and shotty worksmanship. Had my engagement diamond for 16 years, took it in to get it reset. Two months after the reset, my diamond fell out and was lost. It was devastating. Called Jared, the female who answered said shed research it and call me back. No call back. Husband calls 2 days later, says they will research and call us back. Nope. Go in with the ring 2 days after, with the receipt where they "guaranteed" their work and craftsmanship for 6 months, and they tell me its not their fault and in the words of Brian the manager, "Yes, that does suck" that my diamond fell out but it must have been something I had done. The customer service from management down was deplorable. Dont get repairs done here! Horrible experience. They DO NOT stand by their guarantees and do not hold themselves responsible for their own shotty work which lost me a 1 carrot diamond.

POOR SERVICE, DO NOT TRUST Jared. Over the last few years I have spent several thousands of dollars at this Jared. The last thing that I did was to have a repair done on my wifes wedding ring set. I made it very clear that I wanted the old gold taken off of the ring. To keep it short, I was told that it would be returned to me, it was NOT, almost two months later still no gold and a refusal to compensate me financially. I was told that they would replace the missing yellow gold with comparable white gold. This is NOT the same thing. DO NOT TRUST Jared

Melissa was great! She greeted my fiancé and I right away and offered us water and made us feel welcome. I told her we were browsing and she didnt hover over us, however when I was ready to look at some pieces, she was right there waiting to help. There wasnt any pressure to buy or to like one piece over another which I liked. I ended up getting a necklace and earrings for my wedding which was my goal and I couldnt be happier! The financing option was great as well! Thank you, Melissa!

This place is a total scam. They found a ton of things "wrong" with my ring that needed fixed and refused to rhodium plate my ring unless I got them done. They claimed that all of my prongs needed re-tipped (for $25 each and I have 8) and that a side stone was loose. I went to two other businesses for second opinions and NEITHER found anything wrong with my ring. I will NEVER step foot into a Jareds again. What a horrible business.

Dont Trust Jered! they are nice only when they want to sell something, after the deal is done, there is no customer service! in my case, the sales person was a nice person and trying to help me but the store manager didnt care about any thing but money! Recommendation: If you want to buy a watch, Make sure you check the price in other places or online before going there, so they cannot charge you double the price!
