7-30-2015…5 stars Yay, we just bought our car today! We had a great experience! The entire staff was very friendly and very casual. I even overheard some conservations between a couple of sales people which were very graceful and family oriented! K*** the sales associate was very honest and to the point which I loved. He never rushed us, and he made sure that we got what was within our budget. The finance manager worked really hard to get us a great interest rate. We would definitely buy from them again! update 2-1-2016…4 stars So, apparently, the registration did not cover until the end of 2016, and we were now stuck with a late fee from the dmv. We called K***, and he was rude and was not very helpful at all, wanting to dismiss our claim of wanting Hertz to cover the late registration fees, and did not even take blame for putting a 2016 sticker on our car without the registration. We then spoke to Marty, the sales manager, and she was very helpful! She made sure that we got our money back from the registration fees that we paid when we purchased the car, and was going to cover the late fees as well! Luckily, my husband was able to waive the fees at the dmv! lesson learned: always watch out for those sales people that just want to make a sale without thinking of any potential consequences in the future, and always ask questions, no matter how small they may seem at the moment, questions can save you some headaches in the future. went down to 4 stars because k*** was pretty off-putting.

Honestly i am never going to buy a car here again, i was shopping for my first car here . First of all they dont listen , i said i want an american car and my dealer keep on showing me chinese cars , then he came across this mazda and he was like "you want it?" .. and i was like "seriously .. i want an american car" and he said mazda is one... first of all its not..it use to be... the chinese own it now. so he lied..then he basically starts to rush me to find a car ... so i finally found my baby :) my car was 13,000 ..i put 3000 down and when i was paying he was saying i only need to pay 10,000 more , so i was like yay! anywho my payments came in and it said i owed 15,000 more ... i was sooooooooooo heated! my car basically was 18,000 .. i could of bought a brand new one with that money! then before all that happen , my dealer didnt even show me how to work my new car ,and whats cool about it,the meaning of each button none of that .. he just threw the car to me and basically said figure it out .. so i get home so happy to read about it , then i find out that it dident even come with a hand book manuel .... i was pist! so i went to a REAL chevy dealer ;) and told them my bad experience i had at the riverside hertz and they were like "WHAT KIND OF DEALER IS THAT!" anywho i hate the riverside hertz from my experience ... never again....

EXTREMELY disappointed in the "service" received at Hertz. After my husband got out of the military we relocated here (back home). We were trying to trade in my car because we were having issues switching it over from Montana to here and if we were to trade it the dealer would not have the same issues that we were having. We were assured that by the DMV and Hertz. We selected a car, started the paper work process, and were going back in forth with the sales associate helping us. He couldnt remember a thing I told him repeatedly and would consistently make comments as if he was unsure that it was a possible trade or sale? I have never experienced this before and my husband and I have bought multiple cars. I could never get anyone to tell me what they were going to offer me for the car I was trading after it was appraised and then I just never heard back from the associate who was "helping us." Do not waste your time or money here. I then called to speak to the manager about this and immediately she blew up on me telling me that theyve called me multiple times and couldnt get a hold of me. I had ONE missed call from them and she was EXTREMELY rude. Dont waste your time here. Theyre all rude in my opinion.

At first I was apprehensive about buying a rental car. I know that many times these cars can be abused. I dont think I would buy a performance car (Mustang, Camaro) or a luxury model as these are more likely to be rented on a lark. That being said, Hertz offers a very reasonable extended warranty on their cars. Even Dent and windshield repair. The price is hard to beat. The interest rate was great. The car was in very good shape and very little dings from stones and things of that nature. Considering that one day parked in a parking lot can mean the difference between a perfect car and one with a major scratch this was not a big deal. Maybe someone would be less likely to bother breaking my car in and giving me my first scratch or ding seeing that its not perfect? I am very happy with the car and the service provided. They addressed all my issues and even pointed out a few that I hadnt noticed, to make sure I didnt go home and become upset. I recommend at least checking out how much you can save, and the 3 day rent before you buy option, can be a real good thing if you are not sure of the car you want.

Horrendous customer service, if you can call it that! I called three times to verify what I needed to rent an economy car. I was told each time to bring a bank card with a Visa or MasterCard logo. No problem. So I reserve a car, and on the day of my pickup to go to a teachers conference in Las Vegas, I show up, then Im told I need a CREDIT CARD, and only that will be accepted. I wasted money and time on Uber to get there just to find out they flat out lied to me by phone three times, consecutively. I choose another rental service, and within an hour of wasted time, I was finally on the road. Late, of course, thanks to them. I might also add that the woman behind the counter did not greet me, and while I was giving her my reservation number, she got up and left the room for several minutes without saying a single word! What on Earth? Just rude! She came back and never so much as said "Excuse me a moment." Nothing. Terrible business! Please find another rental company.

My first car buying experience and it was perfect! I have very limited credit history and ended up getting a loan through a credit union with a 14.5% interest rate. Without even having to ask they said they could beat that, and they did. They managed to drop the interest rate to 9.8%! The whole car buying process did take quite a while but it was mostly them finalizing the loan for me. The cars are in ok shape. There are scratches and some dings, but nothing major. The cars all have their service history and carfax report for peace of mind. They also have a great warranty. Car needs repairs and its the only one you have? Hertz will cover your rental for a while. 100 miles from home without a car? Theyll pay for your lodging and food up to a certain amount. Prices were great, and Decar Perez was very helpful, walked me through the whole process and gave me a great experience. I will definitely consider buying from Hertz Auto Sales again in the future!
