I would rather buy online than waste my time and go here. First off I was waiting around for a not exaggerated 28minutes to get assistance to find a book. The guest service representative was on the phone helping another customer. I still think that she should of after 15min or so could of acknowledged me or something she just got nervous and tried to get me out of eye sight. . . I get it she was unsure on how to handle the situation. I asked the cashier for help but she just sent me back to the guest service counter. After she got off the phone she forgets that I got there first and helps this kid that barely walks into the store. It took less than 5 min to help -_- not to mention that there was another one hiding in the store ...hello , why wouldnt u radio them in for help...the cashier that checked me out was an older woman that was extremely rude. I asked her if that there was a special earlier in the week because my classmates had purchased the same book for $13 and I was now spending $20. She immediately took the book out of the bag and shoved it back in my head and said idk thats not my job go look for another edition or ask guest services

First time visit and cashier customers skills so bad that felt discriminate. He did not greet me to take my money nor said thanks for taking my money. I spoke to the storemager about her employee at first she seems like ok what else tell me more, but as soon as I mentioned the word discriminated she change to her sweet understand attitude. I wonder if they are treating all customers the same regardless of the race or ethnicity. Remember no matter what my race or language is if I buy your goods Im your boss, because with out my business you dont get a pay check. So please next time treat ne right. Thank you.

Very rarely have what I want in stock. Bookshelves are a mess with damaged items. There was only one book left of what I wanted and the bottom of the book was water damaged. They refused to give me a discount because they could "order it in". If I have to wait for a book to ship, I would rather just order from Amazon. At least Id get what I wanted in mint condition and have it delivered straight to my house, and the books on Amazon are usually at a lower price, too. I come to this store for convenience and customer service. My experience here did not provide either, so Im giving them a one star rating.

What ever you do, dont come here if, you want coffee or heavens forbid, someone to assist you at the customer service counter. This place is WAY understaffed! No one works at the customer service counter no matter how long you wait or how many cashiers you ask. Also if you try to get food or coffe, be prepared to wait! The ladies working that counter will assist their friends and fellow Co workers in front of you and. You will wait 20 minutes for a sandwich and a cup of coffee. Good Luck!!!

One of the last few bookstores left with a large area/reading selection. No seats here and there, and the coffee area does blend in, so you can bring books to read if you can find a seat. Childrens area is fun. Middle is more like a toy store, which is understandable to get feet in there along with reading pieces. Smaller than the ones Ive been with a double decker, but the store itself is as BIG as a double decker, which I love. High rise ceilings leave me happy.

Went here to go find a specific book. That was pretty easy, just asked a nice lady at the counter and she showed me where it would be. Then I walked around the whole store looking for somewhere besides the Starbucks to read, but nothing. I want to sit in peace and quiet while I read, not around people who are talking and making coffees. It would be nice if there was some comfy chairs or a couch to read like previous barns and nobles Ive been to.

They have an employee, Erika, who thinks it is appropriate to make out at the Anne Frank House.Sorry but people who sell books should grasp the importance of the stories in them. They should also prohibit their employees from posting online while also stating where they work. Tell your illiterate and uneducated staff to post without admitting where they work!

What a joke. You know what? The world is swiftly evolving into the "I can live without crappy customer service by, coming up with a machine to replace you! Ha!" This is true for all of the employees working there. Doubt they even look at these reviews, as their service remains the same--crappy. Phone service crappy. customer service that works there, crappy.

Zero stars wasnt possible. Didnt have the book I was looking for, despite showing in stock on their website. Offered to ship it for twice what it cost on Amazon (if I cant get it immediately, I can at least save some money). Massive lines waiting to check out yet there were employees milling around and chit chatting. Save your time/money and order online.

This is a good sized B&N and I love spending time looking through books here. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful but I can never get over how much more their products are than online. Unless it is something I want then I generally will look it up on amazon and buy it for less.

I give it 4, stars because of the employees. I once ordered a book. They were supposed to call when it arrived but didnt. A while passed and I was wondering why they didnt call, so I went to check if it was there. Sure enough, it had arrived 2 weeks before, but they didnt call.

The lady at cafe counter rude. No greeting. Cafe tables sticky. The restroom was dirty. The carpet was stained. When buying book at counter, again, there was no customer service. Person just shouted "next". There was No greeting or " thank you" at end of transaction.

All I got to say is that if you answer the phone , and then put me on hold and for get me .... something is wrong there... I dont blame the receptionist, I blame the management for not following up on them.... now I take my business elsewhere...

One of the last remaining brick and mortar bookstores in town. They have a great selection, and an especially wonderful kids section. My only complaint is they place so many tables in the aisles that its hard to move around sometimes.

I waited for service for such a long time I was ready to leave and the attitude from the clerk was horrible. The only reason I stayed was that no one else had what I was looking for and it was a gift. It was very disappointing.
