I also walked in for an "on sale item" It was a rather large item and the only stock would be in the rear. I asked for help..the cashier had no customers but she asked a fellow worker to check for me since he was already headed to the stock room. I returned the ad to the shelf while waiting for an answer. The worker finally returned and jumped on the phone to tell another customer that they did not have his item. This guy just kept suggesting where he might be able to find it..perhaps the internet where he could google it in a search.."I suggest you do a general search..the narrow your search and try to find one that is close by" on and on for 6 or 7 min BLA BLA BLA. JUST TELL HIM HARBOR FREIGHT DOES NOT HANDLE IT AND END IT!!! Finally I just suggested that he might want to marry the guy since they had so much in common There I was with cash in hand and both employees just let me stand there..Ill order it by phone and have it delivered since actual in house customers get treated like nobody. TOO MANY TIMES I HAVE BEEN THERE AND THERES ONE OR PERHAPS TWO PEOPLE TO RING UP ITEMS OR BE OF ANY REAL HELP AND I SEE PLENTY OF PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE JUST DOING NOTHING . WHAT MANAGEMENT???

If you need a tool for next to nothing this is where you go. Take everything in this store at face value. If you pay 5 dollars for a 19 piece screwdriver set you will get 5 dollar quality, but sometimes that is all you need. As for customer service i have never needed to request help from an employee, but the cashiers are always willing to take coupons and liberally apply discounts. If I am there and it is busy I do find that the shelves tend to not get restocked and cashiers are stretched thin. Sure its cheap Chinese crap but what did you expect?

My wife bought a workbench for a Christmas present. Almost assembled then discovered holes were drilled wrong for the drawer frame. Returned it. got another workbench from the Anaheim store, started putting it together, discovered the end was crushed, breaking the bench end. No sympathy apart from were sorry. The bench had a lot of knots and some of the holes looked weak and cracked, In the end it probably would have caused me a lot of aggravation. Very poor customer service. Sometimes a bargain isnt worth hassle. Ill just build my own.

If we here in the USA made these tools and had a store that sold them here we would have a better economy ! Dont shop wal mart or any store like harbor frieght that dont support our country ... Simple as that _ my grandfather told me when you find a wrench that says made in china throw it away... Because they suck and will break easy but now more thanever before buy american or we wont have the united states .. We will be a russian and chinese ,colony !!!

People. Really!? Its Harbor Freight. It is what it is. What do you expect, nordstrom quality and customer service at 99 cent store prices?? This store is known for what it is. Crazy low prices and cheap tools. You dont go here to buy the highest quality tools to last a lifetime. You buy stuff here that is going to get beat up and abused and you dont want to spend a fortune on.

Good selection, terrible service. Been to many Harbor Frieght stores accross the county. This one was not well run and had unfirendly staff. Unfortunately, they have good prices, so Im forced to shop there due to need to keep my own bids low. If they read this review and manage to change their ways, Ill be happy to upgrade my review.

Not everyone needs to have top shelf tools. This place is like a discount tool store. Their products might not be the best but they are good enough for people who will use a certain tool infrequently. The lines suck and there never really seems to be a sense of urgency with the cashiers.

The main benefit here is getting discount prices on tools. A lot of the stuff is on the lower end of quality but theres one of everything and its easy getting in and out. Dont expect much help, but if you know what you need this beats the pants off of Home Depot

I been there many times and found out they close business way before their posted closing schedule example theyre supossed to close at nine pm and I get there at 8:30 theyre already closed or if theyre closing they wont let you in arguing theyre close already

I have shopped at the store on Tustin in Orange, California for over 20 years. I own dozens of their things. I bought my first solar panel there the first time I visited. A friend told me about the place. Best tip I ever got!

horrible customer service. George hung up on me and when I called back he said something along the lines of are you getting something? Didnt want to help, didnt want my special order, didnt care. Not going here ever.

HFT has really stepped it up in the past few years. This store is now larger and more organized than before. The only downside is the parking lot is tiny and shared with a 99 cent store that is super busy.

Harbor freight offers lots of tools and supplies. You can find hammers, compressors, paint brushes, power tools, etc... Not the highest quality items but usually good enough to get the job done.

Good inventory but cashiers take long at the time to pay they are too distracted talking about their personal lifes and experiences wont go back unless i have 10 minutes to waste while paying

Good place for cheap tools. Not the best quality, but if you need something you wont be using a lot, this is the place to go. Sign up for the emails, tons of sales all the time.
