I am from out of town and wanted to get a small tattoo last minute before I left. I walked in, told the front desk what I was looking for and was on the table five minutes later! Ive gotten many tattoos before; the artist did a amazingly quick and efficient job. He was not chatty in the slightest, so I had plenty of time to listen to music. The shop was clean and well lit. It was also surprisingly quiet for a Friday night! If you are looking for a last minute tattoo in Oakland, this seems to be the place to get it! The reason I only gave this place 4 stars is because they are incredibly overpriced. I have a leg piece took over four hours to complete (with color!) and paid a little over $100 for some incredible and beautiful work. The tattoo I got today isnt even a fraction of the size and doesnt have color, yet cost the same amount. I was happy to pay it, because I got a piece that I will keep forever...but I was very surprised!

4 11 10 i went to temple tattoo and got my first tattoo ever, a phoenix on my right shoulder blade. Jeff was my artist though just a little hard of hearing he was really nice and a great artist i am very happy with the results every time i look at it it gives me the strength i need for the day. all my friends think it is awesome. I got a tattoo by Heath about 3 years ago. Its a Day of the Dead skull. I get so many compliments on it and would def. go back to Temple Tattoo. Heath is an excellent tattoo artist and would recommend him any day.
