Wide range of arts & crafts materials, like any other Michaels. Only a couple of cash registers, so lines can pile up in busy periods like the holidays. The custom framing department is terrific though. Great service, very responsive, and high quality. Its not the fastest process in the world, but good fit takes time. Watch out for the regular mailers if youre a nearby resident. Michaels often runs huge sales and offers lots of coupons so it never makes sense to pay full price.

A well-stocked general crafting store for people who need basic supplies for a few crafts like scrapbooking, beginning knitting, etc. Very heavy on the home decor and coloring books and what I consider "filler" but otherwise acceptable for in-a-pinch needs. Parking is sort of nightmarish coming off of Charleston (the only entrance) during rush hour, so mind your timing if you can. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly; average tenure seems to be eight years or more!

Last year I brought in two long cloth scrolls that I had bought in Japan to be framed. Im so sorry I forgot the framers name, but he was the nicest person. I came in and just said "Ive never done this before, tell me what I need to know" and he guided me through every step, made it clear what my options were and was just very kind in the face of my ignorance. Thank you so much for your time, I love my framed scrolls!

It is a quaint store with only one driveway in off Charleston Rd that you either have to turn in front of traffic to get into, or turn left at the light and head around in a wide circle to approach correctly going south. Parking is in the back and can be difficult to get to, just be aware of people walking. Bought some Halloween supplies that were excellent for our setup.

Michaels is one of the better arts+crafts stores in the bay area with decent (but not great) prices and a wide selection. Of note, there are arts classes (painting, cake decorating, etc.) offered that are not that widely publicized with excellent teachers. If you are interested in the classes, keep your eye out for the 50% off sign-up sale!

I could spend a thousand bucks in less than an hour in this place. Fun, fun, fun. Great location in that it is centrally located and across the street from Bed, Bath and Beyond and close to Costco. So, you can get all your errands and or items for a project without having to drive all around soul crushing Silicon Valley traffic.

Ive gotten craft supplies here on multiple occasions but was most impressed by their custom framing. I would recommend taking a spin through here for art supplies anytime. They also have a never ending bargain section that has deep discounts on their off season stuff. Ive always been able to get what I was after here.

There is parking in the back! The staff is helpful, though it may take a minute or two to find a staff member. There is always a 40% off coupon via the website. If you arent already on the mailing list you can go right to the website for the coupon. It is hit or miss when it comes to waiting for check out.

Expensive crafts store that also offers crafts classes. One of those types of stores that offers a maze of expiring coupons that requires a search committee to find and manage them in orderly fashion, but necessary in order to bring the price down to a more reasonable level.

Small parking lot but an amazing selection! This place is surprisingly huge from the small entrance area. They have great sales all the time and the staff is nice. Make sure to look online for coupons - theres always something good.

This is one of two Michaels Ive seen so relatively speaking its smaller format, customer service is good, parking is difficult but you never come out without buying something even if thats not what you went in looking for.

Came here last week. I bought two memory boxes for $4 since they were 60% sale. They have good discounts right now. I love coming here for art projects. The only thing that this place lacks is the parking lot.

They framed my map of 18th c. Britain to perfection. I literally gasped when I saw it. And Im a guy -- I dont gasp. Very reasonable prices as well -- just wait for the sales.

Nice big store. Great selection however less classes as compared to other locations. Ample parking. Safeway, Ross, Starbucks, FedEx, great clips in the same shopping area.

Endless rows of arts and crafts stuff. Worth coming with kids every now and then just to pick some stuff for creation time. Also good for pros looking for art equipment.

Nobody is trained. I asked a question and was told "I dont know " instead of I dont know but Ill go find out....Kids are running stores & not very well!!

Paintbrushes and acrylic paints are really cheap - but canvases are too expensive here. I get my canvases at Accent Arts.
